Is it possible that she altered her voice upon mixing? Seems like her voice is (higher?/sharper?) than what we've been used to hearing when she was in MM

based on my very limited knowledge of mixing besides pitching it there's also compression and equalization which can alter how a voice sounds a lot, so if this is actually her then either her voice has changed a ton or it's just compression/eq/etc. don't take my word on it tho i barely know how to mix lol

I can definitely hear Kanon here, just massively improved. The whole H!P style singing is gone, she sounds a lot more open.

I came out of hibernation after finding out about these YouTube channels

 

I know we have no confirmation that it's Zukki, and I loaded the latest cover with the expectation to immediately think "No, it's not Zukki"... but as soon as the singing started, I just started crying. It really does sound like her. Even the thought that I am possibly hearing Zukki's voice for the first time in over 4 years is amazing.

If that really is Zukki.... I'll say it again for the millionth time, UFP wasted her talents completely, and probably because of it, now she doesn't want to ever step back into the light. I really hope one day she'll gather the confidence to come back, because she is amazingly talented and has a wonderful personality to go along with it. But if she does want to stay lowkey, I 100% respect and support her wishes.
