Here is my translation of Aiai's blog post:

A notification from Hirota Aika

I, Hirota Aika, will be changing schools on 3 January 2018.

The number 1 reason is that when I compare my current life as an 18-year-old
with what I imagined it to be...
I come to find it lacking.
There are still many things that I want to do.
Because I don't want to end up regretting the life I lead,
I have made this decision.

I am fundamentally bad at working in a group.
It has nothing to do with who is doing what.
Merely being in a group is something I find difficult to deal with.

To think that I was already discussing leaving Ebichuu
during the first few months...
And yet I ended up staying enrolled for 8 years!!!
This is the most surprising fact to me.

Up until now I thought of changing schools many, many times...

But,

Receiving everyone's support,
And being able to talk to you...

with these 2 things I was able to continue.

What scared me more than anything,
was losing those moments of happiness.

The fun and happy times exceeded the times of sadness and depression,
and were thus able to keep me going.

I am truly thankful for everyone for supporting me through all those times.

While plans for my future are still undecided,
up until 3 January I will charge ahead with all my might as an Idol.

I don't know what will happen or when...
but I will definitely continue chasing after my dreams.
I will certainly continue activities in the entertainment business,
so even if I'm changing schools, we will definitely be able to meet again!

However, there is a time limit on Aika Hirota the Idol.
It would be really great if I, as an Idol, could personally thank as many people as possible.
I hope I will be able to meet you!

Please continue supporting Shiritsu Ebisu Chuugaku.

Shiritsu Ebisu Chuugaku,
Attendance number 6
Hirota Aika.

In this tweet from Ebichu's official Twitter, Kouchou has expressed his disappointment on how Ebichu missed Kohaku.

Another Ebichu-related scandal?

http://akb48taimuzu....s/52545406.html

Maybe.... maybe not.

No one is sure who it's referring to.

Names are getting thrown around like Ebichu, Ebisu Muscats, Nogizaka, and even AKB.

I guess it's something we'll have to wait for more info on.

It's Mirei again. In the tabloid live stream, they had a photo of her going somewhere at night and are claiming she's been dating a Johnny's Jr. member for a year. According to some of the Momoclo members, though, Stardust doesn't have a real dating ban, so they probably won't turn it into anything. She'll probably see a slight drop in fan support like last time, but boy does she attract scandals like no one else in this company.

Sorry .. I don't follow Ebichu ..
But what you said affect stardust which I do have fandom on ..

So does Stardust have or do not have a dating ban ..
what in the world is doesn't have a real dating ban ..
So it means that they fool the fans that there is but no one really care because they take the fans for granted?

Momoclo is different .. they been around long enough and I don't think they are going to add new members and graduate the older members ..
They would either move away from being idols or disband .. so the dating rule obviously does not apply to them at this time..
But for Stardust? where they still have kids in the groups and training .. ?
I am sorry .. I would have to review my whole stardust fandom if there is no dating ban ..
My support ain't for helping them be famous so the they can find celebrity hot dates or so that they can get the guy they want or beat other girls to the guy they want, with their status and with the money from the fans .. :)

^ most groups don't have an official dating ban anymore, it's already been ruled illegal to have such clauses in a contract - so it's more a case of they need to be discrete about it.

^ .. well that's why I don't support most groups ..
I support groups that does the right thing :D

I wrote about this somewhere else ..
For example, Sportsmanship ain't in the rules of most sports ..
But it is one of the most important part of all sports .. :)
So its something like this :)

Its one of those thing that you know it is right and do not require people to tell you, write it down or to be official ..
Its a minimum basic thing, that without it, you don't deserve to be doing it ..
Like if you start a charity, the law does not require you to have compassion .. but I think it is a minimum .. right?

*Note - DO NOT get confused ..
There is a difference between action and reaction ..
I am asking if they have it, and not if they will react to it ..
Just want to know if they uphold this at minimum .. it is not about how they should react to it when it happen ..

So I would quit the group if they do not have this minimum ..
But of course I have never quit and never going to quit if they get caught .. :D

Well, I hope that if Mirei has a BF, it's a good relationship, and that everybody at Stardust is discreet about it, looks the other way, and lets life go on.

^ ya .. (assuming there is a dating ban)
As fans .. we are able to, and most of the time we would look the other way and let life goes on ..
But also when we do that .. we got to be prepared for the consequences ..
I dunno this group .. but from what Lurkette said .. it seem that it is not the first time ..
So I guess the fans got to be prepared for it happen again and again ..
and also maybe each time the game get bigger .. :)

But the thing is ALL groups are like that, it's not legal to require someone not to date.

But I prefer not to know about it as well.

Here are the facts, as they are known:

1. One of the Momoclo members (either Shiori or Momoka, I don't remember which) stated during an interview that they were not subject to a dating ban.

2. No member of a female Stardust idol group has been caught explicitly dating, but Mirei and Mirei only has been photographed by tabloids going out at night with boys.

3. Mirei has had 3 scandals in total, two involving tabloid photographs showing her meeting boys at night, and one involving the distribution of school photos and photos with (male and female) friends that reveal her given name.*

4. Mirei has never been formally punished for any scandal.

5. All Stardust groups are managed by separate individuals and generally all belong to different record labels.

*Stardust allows and possibly promotes the use of stage names among their child talent, so it is assumed that a large portion of their female idols do not use their given names, although none have had their name spread around in as dramatic a fashion as Mirei had.

You may interpret the situation as you will, but the fact that only one girl out of a few dozen has ever been caught doing anything remotely scandalous should suggest that there is either some sort of dating ban directive in place for some of the groups (we can exclude Momoclo because it has been stated that they aren't subject to that rule, which, considering their stature, age, and longevity, is understandable), or that the general suggestion is to keep things under wraps. This could either come from the upper Stardust management or from individual managers who may take any scandal on a case by case basis. It's hard to say when there's only 1 case, but considering how many girls in other major companies have been caught actively dating recently, it's pretty impressive that it's kind of 1 here.

For whatever reason every scandal that has been directed at any individual member in Stardust has always been Mirei, possibly because she's the only one dating, possibly because she's the worst at being discrete. So much for Lucky 7.
