I take it from everyone that the general reaction is that the game is worth buying? It seems fun to at least past the time at work.

it's a dating sim so no, it's not worth buying

but it's a dating sim WITH AKB girls in it so yes, if you're a fan then it's obligatory to buy it ;]

I know the feeling. I waited until after it went on sale on the 23rd to order it and all the special editions were sold out or were too expensive. At least my book and regular edition game were sent out so I just have to get myself a PSP.

Unless, like me, you like dating sims? From what I can tell this is a pretty simple one but that's mainly due to the fact that there's 48 girls to get through @_@

^ Never played a dating sim before, always thought they were kinda "strange" but with all 48 girls in the game I could put that little thing aside and buy it.

Thats an amazing spot to be placed for their game sugoi!!! Of course nothing in the near future will knock Monster Hunter from that #1 spot, game is like crack....the good kind. Truely amazing though for them to be placed second not even two weeks into the games release!

Super tempted now to buy a psp just for this game >.<!

They're fun They're like a relationship themed version of these books I had as a kid where you made a decision and it took you to a different page of the book.
There's some weird stigma around dating-sims because of ones like 'love plus' but they're not all like that. Both me and my bf quite like them ^.^ (he introduced me to them actually)

I was given the game for Xmas, and then had to wait for my blossom pink PSP to come from SONY (part of the gift).

I just love the game... I've played through a few times and fnished with KojiHaru, Tomochin, and Shinoda. On my first play-through, I was caught with some other chicas by Tomochin, and she started to break-down and then I promised to see only her... and then went right ahead and visited with the next girls that messaged me. So horrible

But, yes, as mentioned before, some of the things they say and do will melt your heart. Such a fun game; it's gonne take forever to get through and unlock everything.

HMV just emailed me that they have shipped my order * U*
I got the standard edition and the visual book.. so erm.. I first thought the book was a guidebook or so.. but it isn't? So what does it include? If it's only interview pages..

The book has a sort of guide in it towards the back of the book, there is also a pretty damn big poster that has images of the girls on both sides. There is also a sticker sheet with all 48 girls on it, most of the book is interviews and questionnaire's from all the girls, and a making of type interview.
For the price it was well worth it but then again anything AKB48 is well worth my money.

Finally got my AKB1/48 Premier Special Pack!

I am recharging my DSLR battery so will take pics later today, but that was a fun package to open.

Outer and inner box design, the game itself, the DVD's, 48 different battery covers w/kissmarks+signatures, 48 different kissmark stickers, individual covers for the game, special code, the pink PSP, battery, battery charger, PSP booklet, and the 10 photos.

For the random photos, I got Mayuyu, Takamina, Erepyon, Moeno, Komorin, Wasamin, Sakiko, Kana, Ucchii, Harugon (and for the Shukan rope jump DVD box, although off-topic here, I got Takamina, Harugon, Kris, Chikarina, Suuchan).

The game... i can say to have complete but i trying to get the complete set of trading card that is in it... but Shiichan is giving me the trouble of 1 card... i know how to get but not sure why it is not happening so i am playing over and over and over again

^ since you bought the limted ed pack you should have that SR trading card code... rmb to redeem it..

I have finally seen all 48 confessions and I think my top 4 goes something like this

Now to go and collect all the cards and start rejecting all the girls to collect all the videos.

I wish I was able to order the pack with the psp but I couldn't find it online. I really wanted those battery covers. I guess putting the kiss mark stickers on my psp will have to due.

Finally got the game and the book today! But I still don't have a PSP to play on b/c I'm an idiot.

Trying to see if I can get someone to get me a Japanese one (just b/c it comes in colors not available in the US) since I know some ppl coming in a week or so. Maybe I should just get a US one and put a case/skin though b/c it'd be cheaper....

Got a Tomo~mi card but might trade it for someone I like better if I can.

Based on the success hopefully there's another game in the works. Like some have suggested before, a Majisuka Gakuen fighting game would be amazing!

Don't watch the making dvd until you have seen all of the confessions, since it is a making you won't be surprised when you are confessed too since they do show bits and pieces of what is actually used in the game. But you can watch the umd, it has no spoilers in it and a lot of goodies.
