boca is a bop!!! the b-side from the same album "can't get you out of my mind" is also incredible, it's so nostalgic lol. huge late 2000s/early 2010s eurodance vibe (even kinda ddr-ish)

jazz bar isn't really my thing but the whole album it's from is amazing, probably one of the best kpop releases this year. in the frozen is soooo good

Ikr! Maybe I'm a bit biased but the reason why I love Jazz Bar is because they actually let Dami sing and not just rap. Tbh I'm still confused on why they haven't won a music show yet. I kind of get why they didn't win for Scream (really bad release timing) but I still think Boca should have won over the Cravity song tbh. : S

 

I guess since my spotify is playing K-pop right now, I'll recommend a few more girl group songs:

 

EVERGLOW No Lie (ft. Dun Dun performance): I got to see them in concert before Corona ruined 2020 and oh my gosh they are amazing. T . T

yeah it's really confusing how they still haven't gotten a win yet, especially since they've been getting more attention lately (at least, i think? i'm not really sure how popular idols are in sk in general). what happened w/ everglow last year was messed up but by now i was sure they'd have at least one win. idk, it's probably either industry blacklisting of some sort or just really bad luck lol

 

also no lie is sooo good!! tbh i haven't really liked everglow's music except for their title tracks (the drop in adios is perfection and bon bon chocolat as a whole is amazing) but no lie got me immediately, it's so nice. dun dun is also good, kinda feels like adios pt. 2 without the awesome drop but i still like it
