DOCTOR BUTCHER, M.D. [U.S. edit of ZOMBI HOLOCAUST]: "He is a depraved, sadistic rapist; A bloodthirsty, homicidal killer. ...And He Makes House Calls!" XD (This is totally misleading, by the way.)

KILLER KLOWNS FROM OUTER SPACE: "In space no one can eat ice cream!" XD

PATRICK: "He's in a coma...yet, he can kill."

RE-ANIMATOR: "Herbert West has a very good head on his shoulders...And another one in a dish on his desk." XD (This one's my favorite, I think.)

WHOEVER SLEW AUNTIE ROO?: "She's Taking A STAB At Motherhood!"

MYRA BRECKINRIDGE: "Everything you heard about MYRA BRECKINRIDGE is true." (I never saw this movie, but not many people like it. Everything most people heard was bad, so this is the worst tag line in movie history! XD)

NIGHTFORCE: "Some people give a damn..." (I never saw this movie either, but I love the tag line.)

In memory of Spanish director Juan Piquer Simon, who passed away a few days ago....

PIECES (1982): "You don't have to go to Texas for a chainsaw massacre. PIECES - It's exactly what you think it is!"

SLUGS - THE MOVIE (1988): "They Slime. They Ooze. They Kill!"

ENDLESS DESCENT a.k.a. THE RIFT (1990): "You can't hold your breath and scream at the same time."

R.I.P., Mr. Simon. :sob: Your films were very....interesting! ^_^

I once saw a Japanese porn movie for which the tag line was given in English on the DVD cover as: 'She spruced around their apartments, preparatory to going downtown!' The film was of a girl being caught having too much fun with herself in a school detention. Not an apartment in sight and nobody, rather surprisingly for a porn flick, went 'downtown' in any of the senses in which that could be interpreted. Damn you Babelfish!

I liked this tag line for the first Eko, Eko Azaraku film: 'Lucifer, let this cute girl be the empress of the universe!' although it's totally misleading.
There is joy in the setting out; there is joy in the journey; there is joy in the goal.
