Today I turn 14 so maybe Tsunku will let me see the Berryz to tell them TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY

This is one I heard this week:
"There was a man who entered a local paper's pun contest. He sent in ten different puns, in the hope that at least one of the puns would win. Unfortunately, no pun in ten did."

^ I thought that was funny. I don't know much about Berryz, so maybe that's why I didn't get H!Pfanboy297's pun?

But why "horrible puns"? Other jokes are considered to be witty and funny, why is it that whenever someone makes a pun, they apologise for being lame? This has been bothering me for some time, because I love puns. I rarely make them myself though so I can't remember any. Post some puns here people, I will laugh if nobody else does.

I fired my masseuse today. She just rubbed me the wrong way.

I used to work in a blanket factory, but it folded.

I used to be a lumberjack, but I just couldn't hack it, so they gave me the axe.

I love puns in general~ Mostly when they're written though, and homonyms, that way I feel smarter about catching 'em, lol.

All of the puns above are far from horrible, but mines are pretty bad. >.<;

One I made today:

There was no doubt in my mind that Buono would LAST FOREVER sinced it's blessed by ROCK no Kamisama and besides, they hadn't reached their GOAL to compete earnestly(!) yet. Then again, when it comes to H!P releases, I've learned to Take it Easy!, since as fans, we're pretty much always looking for the rainbow in the sky.
