LOL OJS infiltrates an AKB concert. Too bad we didn't see much from the audience. Since some of them busted out glowsticks, i wanna see if they wotagei to the song

There's so much possibilities AkiP can do with his 48 project. Create a Johnny Entertainment looking 48 group, lolsz ENK48(sry tsunku hehe), Or even expand out of japan into other countries, and make 48 groups that can base their music in other genres besides pop.

But ojs48 is the shyyt. 50 years from now I wanna audition lol :-)

Matsui Jurina (SKE48) mentioned them recently in a post, along with this image, saying she joined them. I didn't know she was serious about the OJS48 part until I saw this topic!

It's great that these older folks get to do something fun since retirement probably gets boring after a while.

Are senior citizens the intended audience for this group? If so, Aki-P has definitely found something good. There's rarely newly produced music for older people that is of a similar style to what they listened to in their generation. This is what the cool grandpas and grandmas listen to at home nowadays. No more of that 40s music that's ACTUALLY from the 40s.

To see the group or at least some members be a Littttttle active.
A single or two per year with a crashing akb's concert or tv shows to promote, that would hurt AkiP-San

A lot of what it takes to be an idol is physical health and determination. They do not lack the determination, but as far as their physical health (as well as mental health) is concerned, a few members may be a bit lacking. Some old people develop Alzheimer's or a less acute level of forgetfulness, and I dont know how active they can be either.

But I definitely agree, it would be great to see them actually go somewhere with this group! Unfortunately, I don't know if it's possible.

I agree with this. Get some awesome crooners in there and the old ladies will go nuts, they love a crooner!
