I'm so behind on everything about SUPER☆GiRLS. Tbh, I was kind of surprised they were still active, as there's so little mentioned about them, it seems. I did enjoy those early singles though, so maybe I'll have to look in on the 10th anniversary best of record.

Well, one thing is for sure and that they're not as popular as they were at their peak years ago. However, the group seems to still be getting along just fine, with the newer faces getting settled in. Their sales have dipped a lot, with them not even being able to sell 20k copies as of their last few releases, but that's pretty much because after all the original faces left, other than adding new members, Avex didn't really even attempt to do some real rebranding in order to help the group survive. 2020 made the situation worse, with the pandemic hitting and Avex not having the funds to promote them more during this time period, but if SG are able to survive inro 2021, hopefully this'll be a wake up call to Avex to try and get the group more exposure.

After the disbandment of Cheeky Parade/GEM, iDOL street going defunct and SG and Wasuta pretty much being their own groups with no relation to each other, I doubt it.

I'm really impressed that the group survived despite the fact that all original members left. And the new girls are doing great. I still prefer the old formation of course, but I have to admit that these new girls got me.

Even with new faces the group has the same spirit which is a very good think. Many idol groups lost what was making their charm to me. So I love that Super Girls are still as cheerfull and fun as they used to be.

 

These days I can't stop listening to POP!! POP!! POP!!. The MV is also very nice.
