Today is their 9th anniversary concert and I was hoping they would stream the concert. Doesn't seem like they will though.

Seems like they have a whole lot of stuff coming up this year in preparation for their 10th anniversary.

1. A photobook titled "STARS!!!!", to be released on July 26th 

2.  An original channel on the Rakuten LIVE app, starting next month

3. They'll be holding an "Oshibato" card game tournament on June 24. It seems like a card game featuring cards of the members themselves? https://oshibato.jp/

4. They'll have their own character, name suggestions will be accepted through the fanclub 

5. Said character will have a collaboration with My Melody this fall 

6. A collaboration restaurant in October

7. One-man lives on 8/31, 9/14, 10/19 and 11/2 

8. Major debut anniversary live on December 22nd 

9. 23rd single in September and 5th full album "Chouzetsu☆Gakuen~Tokimeki High Range!!!~" in December.

10. Each member will be centering a song from the album, and each of these songs will get a music video. Music videos will be released on the 1st day of each month starting from July. (At least this is how I understood it)

 

July: Nazuna (White Melody), Chika (POP!!POP!!POP!!) 

August: Kana (Jounetsu Runner), Shiori (NIJI Iro SKY) 

September: Yumeri (TBA)

October: Hotaru (TBA), Yuu (TBA) 

November: Aika (TBA), Yuuki (TBA)

December: Koume (Tokimeki High Range!!!), Mayuko (TBA)

Important note: the photobook also comes with a DVD. That is an important detail since there will be bikinis... for those interested in such things. I'm still annoyed that their 3rd photobook didn't, since that was when the 2nd gen joined (and everyone knows that was the best lineup). And there were bikinis in that also! Koume, Nappon, and Reira bikinis! (for those interested in such things).

 

Thinking about the mascot more... it should just be Koume wearing a bikini. And she should be forced to attend all SG activities in her "mascot" costume... which is a bikini.

 

Fan #1: Why is Koume wearing a bikini? It's December.

Fan #2: That's not Koume... that is the SG mascot, who happens to be Koume wearing a bikini.

Fan #1: There should be more SG mascots.

 

Anyway, I appreciate that they shared their concert schedule months in advance. The small venues continue to confirm that they won't invest in making the group popular again, although at least they are committed to maintaining the group through 2020. Definitely thinking about that December concert.

Were any of the following graduation concerts ever released in any form: (1) Reira and Rino, (2) Amita, or (3) Mirei. Even if just a digest or TV special? 

 

Eri and Saori concerts were released as dvds/blurays.

Gocchan announced her graduation on the Super Castle dvd. (not really the same thing, but it's something)

Hikaru, Rina, Ruka, Nana, and Risa's concert was on the CongraCHUlation bluray (I don't think it is the full concert though). Also footage from a tv special on the 4th gen.

 

Unrelated, I have a feeling Kome will graduate at the end of the year concert. I'm glad they made her in charge of the December song, because it at least locks her in until then.

The name of their 23rd single has been announced to be "Kataomoi no Cinderella", release date is September 18th and Yumerin will be the center again. The song will be performed for the first time at TIF 2019.
