I just learned how to read cards and I've been studying ALOT about the tarot. Anyone read tarot cards or have any stories or history to share?

 

My wife used to really be into it all. I told her it was bunk. I said I could get anyone to believe that I was really reading the cards. The next time i saw my sister I said I'd read for her. She was excited. I simply told her any and all fairy tale chick flix things that she would want to hear. I used some serious drama in my voice. My wife was shocked at how easy it was to manipulate a person.

I can't say if tarot cards work or not. I can say it would be easy to make some bank if you are unscrouplous by nature.

Tarots rely more on your skill to compose a story from a chain of pictures or meanings.

you can say that its fate that put these cards in this order but really, you're just trying to write a story from a pile of meanings in a random order given by deck shuffle.

Still like to do readings with my 2 decks tho!
