I would say that I started to investigate Tarot Cards in the past because of Escaflowne. I might get back into it, or at least play around with my CCS cards a bit.
I have a question though:
Is it true that if you buy your own Tarot Card deck you'll have bad luck?
I heard that to get around this, a friend has to buy the deck and give it to you as a present.
Let me know if this is a myth.

I've also heard not to allow others to handle your cards (like try to do their own reading or someone elses)
I've been reading for about 7 years~ I find it very enlightening and also kinda therapeutic? I guess?

It's an absolutely ridiculous myth! The usual gumpf goes along the lines of: "You shouldn't buy your own cards. When you are ready, the cards will come to you!" or similarly: "The cards choose the reader, not the other way around!" This sort of story is cooked by the type of people who 'read fortunes' for others and want to make themselves appear more special/gifted/etc. Don't believe a word of it.Is it true that if you buy your own Tarot Card deck you'll have bad luck?

Tarot is not for reading fortunes or impressing your friends.

I don't know anyone with tarot cards and I personally have no experience with them, so I'm not sure how I feel about them. ; I tend to be a bit skeptical about card readings because my friends are the type of people that redo it until they get a favorable reading.
I would really like to get into palm reading though, mostly because it looks interesting!

I went on a science camp to Thailand and a boy their read my palms and some of the stuff he said seemed quite true.

My fiancee and I have had so many experiences, and our minds are so open to occult things that I can't help but believe and love things like this
It's also extremely fun to do readings for friends cause I'm so good at explaining stuff, their eyes are always wide open and go "O.O how does it know me so well??" LOL
愛 love you

Yeah, I have a Fairy deck that I haven't touched in years. Not sure why because I found reading to be a pretty (if a little daunting) relaxing ritual
