Yes fourth the worst ...
At least the third one you need some characters who are strong so it fits the 108 star theory
The 2nd one i just enjoy taking Luc and spam AOE wind magic ^^
I will play 5 6 7 too...simply because the story of 1 and 2 are so good that it makes me like the whole suikoden stories.

This is the only modern game I've played all the way through twice ... just to get all of the 108 stars of destiny.
I still haven't finished 5, coz I got to a "point of no return," couldn't level up any more and had to start again.

4 is short (IS SHORT), but I actually enjoyed it, I finished it on First-Person view mode about 99.9% of the time (nothing though, but its fun), and I didn't think I'll even finish it.
Ye we know, lvl 99 all is not hard afterwards...
...as for 5, the battle scene is not as lively as the 4th... so I give 4 credit, not to mention the gay-looking hero.
