嵐 are a Japanese male group made of the 5 members above.
The guys are managed by Johnny & Associates.
Members:
Ohno Satoshi: November 26th, 1980 (aged 29) (leader).
He gained his position as leader through a "Rock, Paper, Scissors" contest.
He is very close to his mother and has mentioned that she even buys his clothes for him. It was also his mother who got him to audition for the company.
He has an interest in art, having shown his drawings on TV and worked with clay sculpture. He has expressed an interest in wood carving and building houses.
Sakurai Sho: January 25th, 1982 (aged 28).
He is the rapper of the group and he writes his own lyrics. He has wrote mostly all of their songs together with Ninomiya.
He is the best educated member of the group, having graduated from Keio University with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics.
He always reads newspapers, he sleeps with music playing and he treasures his family so much that he still lives at home with his parents.
Aiba Masaki: December 24th, 1982 (aged 27).
He joined the company for the sole reason of wanting to play basketball with SMAP.
He is cheerful, easygoing, somewhat ditzy and never thinks ahead.
His nickname is "Super Idol Aiba-chan", given to him by the other members.
Ninomiya Kazunari: June 17th, 1983 (aged 27).
He is the first JE talent to star in a Hollywood movie.
He once planned to go to the U.S to study directing / producing but gave it up to debut in Arashi.
He can play the guitar, bass, piano, drums and harmonica. He is also good at gymnastics and cooking.
He likes singing, music production, creative writing, baseball and video games.
Matsumoto Jun: August 30th, 1983 (aged 26).
He gained popularity with his charm, sense of style and choice of unconventional acting roles.
He is very serious and professional when it comes to his work.
He is very protective of his other members and he dislikes being touched by strangers, being fairly aloof when in private.
He has great respect for the loyalty of his fans and supporters.
