The only winnder from the korean auditions. Where is she now. any ideas? hopefully with the thread open, people can add any bit of informattion they find out about her.

I for one can't wait for her debut. Personally, I would love her to be a soloist but also be part of a new group made up of her and Risa so they could release both Korean and Japanese song...oh Tsunku please let that happen

ya I'm worried they have dropped her. But in Korea the artists train for years before they debut. Maybe they are bringing her up to a high standard of performer as well as having her be fluent in japanese

not that I have ben aware of anyway. her and ice creamusume were at the winter spring concerts this year. Hopefully she will turn up in the summer ones or something.

@mikari: hmm I dunno, I assume she will debut in Japan anyway, but the whole point of getting her was to expand wasn't it so she might release stuff in korea too. Here's hoping anyway

I think I've asked this a few times, but why do people keep romanizing her name as "Da Yeon"?

On the official audition website it was romanized as "Jang Dayun".

Jltos: Not of just her, but there's the whole audition TV series she was included in if you never watched it. I think most of it is still on YouTube somewhere.

well, she still has to learn like Japanese, and get a Japanese visa. dont know if she got that yet.

I know it was probably to expand further into Asia, but did they ever say what the winner was going to do, like join a group or debut?

liamers: The official audition website, not the H!P site. All the girls names were already romanized on that site, and hers was "Jang Dayun".

The website is still up and running. The girls names are romanized on the left-hand side.

puffydinosaur: If i'm remembering right the only thing we knew was that the winner would take steps that a Japanese singer would take to work toward her debut. Or something like that.
