I'm a girl and I just don't like that the girls have to do PVs/PBs/whatever in bikinis. I think the AKB48 girls do very much in bikini outfits and I don't like that at all. I don't see the aim why they have to do it, for me, it'd be absolutely fine if they were dressed normally. there are tons of really beautiful clothes, and for a summer PV, they could wear summer dresses etc instead.

I mean, if the majority of the PV is on the beach it kind of wouldn't make sense for them not to wear bathing suits, I guess.
In the other parts of the PV they are wearing cute summer clothes~

well ok, perhaps it makes sense for this PV, but.. I don't know how to explain it properly, but I'll try.
I've got a notion that the bikini shots from AKB48, sometimes from H!P girls as well, are directing to a certain direction and that's what I dislike. I've got two photobooks of Reina and on the bikini shots in them, she looks "normal", if you know what I mean. I don't see the good thing in bikini shots, they don't appeal to me and I could to do without them very well. however they exist and so I skip them.

It’s OK. It’s just that I heard that argument a lot of times and mostly from guys. One thing is that they shouldn’t be treated as sexual objects and quite a different one that they couldn’t do what they want to with their bodies and minds according to their own will. I agree with you that most of the photoshoots are gravure material but most of them are quite soft, they are alluring but not explicit. Yes there is some erotic objectification, but most of the times I can still recognize the girl(s) on them and that's the main reason why I keep them. When AKB did the fashion book most of the comments were about how “boring” the pictures were. I found quite funny that people criticized a fashion book for being a fashion book.

In a way I agree with pinkguin, but this is a summer single and so was Baby! Baby! Baby! and so it's filmed on a beach and the girls wear bikinis. It's quite fanservicey but it's not ridiculous.

Though the fact that the covers are of very-frontgirls wearing bikinis decided for me that I won't buy this.

I'm just glad that my Akicha is in it this time. I like the song....it's nice and uplifting. However I really don't like the covers....it seems too much of a magazine shot to me that a cd cover.

I'm a girl and I also don't think it is really a big deal for them to wear bikinis in the PV.
It is a summer single and they filmed the PV on the beach plus they all look good in bikinis^^
As long as the PV doesn't feel too perverted or erotic, I think it is OK.

The covers are nice, but it still bugs me that AKB deliberately exclude so many of their members. Like, if you have a 20-person group, don't pretend like you have a 5 or 6 person group.

PV looks good, but song sounds too much like everything else AKB puts out. I want something like Sakura no Shiori that stands out!
