huntherx17 just wrote that he knows that it's a soccer team with H!P members AND that all those sites that he found are in Japanese. Which means that he doesn't understand Japanese...
huntherx17 - I know that they play/used too play in a tournament that had other soccer teams and each soccer team were created from different groups. Like ladies from the TV news and so on. Someone else should help you out

actually its a "futsal" team lolIt's a football team with H!P members
its different from real soccer/football... the field is about 1/4? of the real size soccer field, its indoor without fense... and fewer people on the field

after Hello Project Sports Festival 2004 i can say (yeah ) this:

Does anyone know the actual meaning of Gatas Brilhantes (doesn't sound like a Japanese word) and the meaning behind the name like how or why they came up with it?

portuguese...brazil.... futsal...
hitomi is better as a centralHitomi = Christian VIERI (Inter)

It's not so different in spanish, just change the "h" for a "l" and the meaning is the same, but since cats seems to be very appreciated in Japan I don't think they find the name weird.If you say Gatas Brilhantes to anyone that understands portuguese, like me, it sounds awful They should change the name...

it's a disgrace to profesional football player. i can't even compare the Gatas player to my school team.... because frankly speaking, their skill are way too bad. althought i enjoy watching my favorite Morning Musume playing futsalgatas team has really guudd player
