Ahem, I'm still a little unsure about the name question. I don't know whether to call Tsuji Nozomi, Tsuji or Nozomi. I think Nozomi is her last name because it has 1 more letter. Same goes for Makoto Ogawa. *drives himself into confusion*

Anyway, here is the 12 second audio clip of Minimoni's Telephone Rin Rin Rin yelling an "S" word.

Checked the japanese lyrics and that part doesn't appear there since it's part of the backing track, but after hearing it several times, to me it doesn't sound like the "s" word... maybe only a little but I'd say it's not it.

As for the names, the lenght has nothing to do with which is the first and last name, a good example is Tsuji Nozomi, her last name is Tsuji. By the way, Ogawa is Makoto's last name

I totally know your pain. I found out a few weeks ago that Abe Natsumi's first name is Natsumi... Natsumi sounds more like a last name then Abe... Anyway, I'll try to help a little bit more witht he current members:

The length of the name has nothing to do with it:

the name structure of Japanese name is exactly the same as Chinese or Korean name. Which is last name came before first name.

eg. 高橋 愛 (Takahashi Ai)

Here are 2 questions:

1) What are the first and last names of the Morning Musume members?
-For example, Takahashi Ai. Is her first name Ai or Takahashi? I always thought the shortest one was the first name and the longest is the last name.

2) In the song Telephone Rin Rin Rin by Minimoni, do they curse by saying the "S" word twice?
-There are no Romaji/ English translations and it really sounds like they yell the "S" word twice in the song.

I think confusion also arises as the names on the Official products/oictures are also written in the manner of Ai Takahashi, Asami Konno etc.
