Well, but given AKB's well record tracks in doing things half-baked (please forgive me if this line doesn't make sense), I wouldn't be putting all my hopes into it, but definitely something for this girl at least

You know, when I saw people talking about her solo debut just today, I thought they were EXPRESSING that they wanted her to debut as a solo artist; I didn't think that they were actually talking about reality! But I'm so happy that she gets to debut! I didn't think that she was an amazing singer as everyone else said because of WH7 and her cute face made me under the impression that her voice was... Not skilled. But I knew that I couldn't judge fairly based on her singing in WH7 (because their songs aren't suited for vocal power) and I can't judge someone from their looks, so I couldn't wait to see a live from her. And when I did... Holy mother, she was fantastic! She totally deserves this and even though I don't know how well she'll do (due to her not being one of the most popular members and the genre), I'll follow her solo career!

Should all of her songs be original or does anyone have cover request for her b-sides?

I would like all original just for the sole fact that AkiP will be writing the lyrics. Even though his past work are classics.
I love the pop songs he writes, but my great appreciation and high respect of him comes from his enka work.
My neighbor loves AkiP enka songs, so she will be happy about this, too!

This will be the first enka single I will buy. Kuz I usually buy enka albums.

AkiP, is all about classics!

It's about time AKB48 branches out into the Enka genre. I hope AkiP also writes the song. That just has to be epic.

She most definitely will be the center in the enka genre of my mp3 player.
I hope she gets a lot of more pushing for promotion and get her to be 2012 top enka singer!
When Kouhaku shows up next year, there will be request for AKB AND Wasamin !
I want her to be on all the enka programming.

And since AkiP, create songs that will truely bring out her potential!

EDIT: Also, according to her latest blog post http://ameblo.jp/mis...1100137603.html She'll be taking part in the Shin Shun Enka Matsuri http://www.nagarapro...p/shinshunenka/ which will be organized in a few big cities (Nagoya, Osaka, Yokohama) and it's a fairly large event. But I fail to see her name on the event's home page lol.

Waaaaaaaaaaaasamin!!! This is so amazing! I'm so happy and excited for her! Her solo debut! So wonderful! It's all finally happening for her! I hope this goes well! She isn't the most popular member, and maybe not many people love her, but I think they at least like her. This is sure to get her some more attention. Ah, but who cares, this is great!
