out of the RS being promoted Aamin is the one I see with the most frontgirl potential and she's also possibly the best singer of all of them

Might as well bump the thread since it's her birthday!

Thought her eyebrows were too thick before, but she is getting prettier as she grows into them.

They should have had her on Naruhodo High School when they did the bit on eyebrows (unless I'm remembering wrong and she was there). Would have been hilarious to see her with pencil thin brows!

.gina probably meant that she looks grown up or as the Japanese like to say "otona-ppoi".

Used to think most Asians look younger than their age (examples: Fresh Lemon, Kanakana from SKE) but then you got Jurina who looks way older than 13!! Ami's somewhere in the middle. Depending on the picture, she either looks really young or like a 1980's idol IMO.

Back in the 1980s until the early 1990s (or whenever Amuro Namie became super popular) thick eyebrows were in for women. Examples can be seen in this collection of Christmas CMs for JR Tokai train lines. The first one is most obvious!


Just re-checked the first episode of Naruhodo High School. They totally should have used Ami instead of Sasshi, Yonechan and Mocchi! Especially, when there was the segment where they covered it up to look like they had no eyebrows! The contrast would have been hilarious!
