Does anyone know if her whole TIF performance is anywhere online?  I really wanna see it!

I believe the whole thing is on YouTube in parts. If you're unsure of hunting for it I can do it later today.(I stopped hunting for clips when the torrent appeared)

I don't know why I didn't stop to check the tracker!  (probably because it's not H!P related.  even though there's tons of AKB on the tracker.  even though she's not AKB anymore ... don't mind me.  i'm just having a conversation with myself)

 

oh, well.  i did mean specifically ono erena.  i don't think i want to dl the entire fuji coverage

I find Ono Erena very compelling for some reason.  Actually I know the reasons, but they're probably not exciting enough for people to read.

Maybe you're not too interested in content on AKB48 tracker or the Other category, but a tip is to at least check the entire tracker once in a while, because it might be that there's some intermixing and stuff you like appears in a different category. Personally I show the "All" button so that I don't miss out on anything. Gives me more torrent results per day for sure, but it's worth it

It says she's going to graduate from showbiz on the 15th of July, so soon...

I thought she was doing alright, though I had noticed a lack of singles recently. I had really hoped she'd be able to make it more. :c

I've never followed her career, but I've always wondered if she's commented on why she graduated when she did? She was in Senbatsu, AKB was rising higher and higher, and she graduated but remained within the industry.

There's various explanations given. 

 

One is that she was connected to several huge tabloid stories, and scandals, either directly or indirectly. One large one was an article where an "insider" had given information to a tabloid about supposed inner workings of AKB48 the group and management. There was a lot of stuff written, and there were minor and major allegations going on. The problem was that a lot of it was pure fiction. The other problem was that allegedly this "insider" source was Erepyon's own mother. Not a good thing, in terms of creating a good relationship with your employer, when you consider that Erepyon's mother couldn't come up with this all on her own, without Erepyon's help. 

 

Then that about scandals of course, was that there were plenty of rumors surfacing and resurfacing over a period of time, that Erepyon was dating. An idol no-no of course. The rumors persisted, and eventually photos were also taken. And after Erepyon's graduation, later at the Request Hour concert, "FIRST LOVE" was voted up all the way to #16, in the hopes that Erepyon could return to sing it (she had a lot of fans at the time, and if you listen to the beginning of the song when it's ranked, you'll hear fans go "Erepyon!!", expecting her). She did not, Mayuyu did instead - and this was a big, big surprise at the time - because back then, it was very common that graduated members could return. Those who did not were usually in a very poor standing with the management, or had a contract with another competing company that barred them from such participation.

 

In Yuko's recent graduation song, two members were missing from the original lineup: Maachan, and Erepyon. Everybody else of the old graduated members were featured.

Please keep in mind that all this are still just rumors and speculation. It's hard to tell what really happened as there is no definitive proof from a reliable source AFAIK. Most of it is wild thinking by people on the Internet.

Probably something has happened backstage back in the days. While Ono was part of the recorded singers for Yasai Sisters (Heavy Rotation B Side) she was replaced by another girl in the video for the song (that's a fact). That was directly before her graduation announcement, so perhaps this has something to do with it (that's entirely speculation). But considering that AkiP went all out and produced a graduation photobook and DVD for Erena (that's a fact) there perhaps weren't any ill feelings towards Erepyon from AKB management's side (speculation).

Well... we probably never will know.
