Casual fan of AKB here, looking to find more info about Mariko

She always catches my eye in PVs, and I've wanted to hear what her singing is like. Can anyone give me any links please?

Wagamama na nagareboshi is epic How come Haruna and Mariko are performing at a Team K Stage? I just looked on jpopstop at Team K 5th Stage, and it says the song is performed by Ono Erena & Kobayashi Kana on the CD and DVD.

Back in the early 80's, when idol business was pretty new, a man with the name of Akimoto Yasushi conjured up a great deal of new ideas to apply to idols. One of them were shuffles.

H!P fans from the early days are aware of shuffles through H!P, due to Tsunku thinking that this idea was great, and wanted to do the same.

However, with AKB, you have Akimoto using shuffles as they originally were planned to be: Team specific stages when brought onto concerts are often "shuffled", meaning you can have a Team A song performed by Team B girls, a Team K song by Team A girls and so on. It opens up for a lot of creativity. One example is a song called "Tonari no Banana", an overly sugary cutesy-cute song performed by the younger girls of AKB48. However in the JCB HALL shuffle concert, it's the two oldest members of AKB48 that performs it, namely Ohori Megumi and Noro Kayo. This shuffle idea is often done in concerts, and it's a great surprise for fans to find out what songs are performed and by who.


So, to answer your question: The DVD you want is the following: AKB48 分身の術ツアー/AKB104選抜メンバー組閣祭り

The Special Limited DVD Box (スペシャルBOX通常版) is sold out from long ago (7 DVD's, 1 PB, 1 Team binder, 5 random Team photos, 1 special photo magazine). This DVD box contains both the Budokan concert days, and the Team concerts from Osaka, Fukuoka etc.

Only one which seems to be available is the AKB104選抜メンバー組閣祭り DVD 4枚組 フルヴァージョン - From this page: https://www.pre-cam..../shop/index.php - and this has the Budokan performances.

But from this page - http://shop.akb48.co.jp/items/view/92 - it seems to be out of stock. I would just try to order it from above link anyways - if order comes through then it works, if not ... well, not...

Her singing reminds me of Mano Erina. I thought/hoped her voice would sound better, tbh Not that I don't like it, it was just surprising.

I listened to the studio recording of Wagamama na Nagareboshi, but prefer Mariko's and Haruna's version, so made an mp3 of that

First, you check the date of that post - 10th of February - and then you compare with date of today: 15th of September.

Shinoda Mariko is still in AKB48. So, she obviously isn't fired. What Universus posted was a joke. Not reality.

I used Photoshop CS4. But you can use CS5 as well.
Also it's kinda to hard learn but you'll get the hang of it after a while.
And you have to buy it.

It's such a common pose I doubt Mariko knows about Sayu's connection to it. But Haruna is a real Sayu fan so you can see her doing it sometimes. Maybe Mariko learned it from Haruna.

^ Even though the pose has existed long before Sayu started doing it - that pose is pretty well-known in the Japanese entertainment industry as Sayu's trademark.
Although it's indeed very possible (and probable) that Mariko only picked it up from Haruna, who I believe even wrote "Usa-chan Peace" on her picture from these scans.

A question from me:

Okay, so I've seen this girl in quite a few gravure mags, and Tyzer sent me one of her photobooks before with the name "Super Mariko"

So I was just wondering, has this girl released any other photobooks? And what are the names of them if she has?
I kind of really like her style, and I feel like updating my bookshelf.
