I must admit, being a Brit, I have little interest in Basketball and don't really know much about it! So these past few eps have been a bit dull for me, aside from a bit of 'spot the Sae'.

Looks like they're making up for it next week though, ahem.

I’m going to stop watching this on keyhole, too good. Two teams, lead respectively by Takamina and Mariko. All kind of water games, underwater shoots (yes, those ones), and (some) live acts while they are playing (Watarirouka and “Blue Rose”, at least).

I love how they made Mayu and Oota play in the children's pool, yet Jurina is much younger and was kicking ass (unfortunately Rena =/ ) in the adult's pool!

They were showing pool-side performances of stuff like Blue Rose, Bird etc. in the corner of the screen - they surely didn't record these purely for this purpose. Are they being released on DVD or something?

After watching it I’m thinking this is a future DVD magazine release. You can have the extended games, longer interviews, missions, making of and even a second or third DVD packed with the songs. And they can release it before summer.

I can't wait for that DVD release then. Honestly it's one of the best episodes of AKB48's of either Shukan and AKBingo. They really did well, even having performances during the games. I was just a bit bummed Sayaka didn't get to participate on the games because of her Drama, but it was still very fun to watch the girls.

Also I couldn't help myself and make this, I just couldn't get it out of my head lol. I love Takamina so much, and this was too priceless of a moment.

Yeah this was one of the more enjoyable episodes (And not only because Swimmsuit + AKB/SKE girls = winwin) ^^.

I am happy that Rena was able to win in the relay pretty good over Jurina who was pretty obvious to win the sprint
(Seems to me that Rena may have trained swimming someday as her style was nice too

And the way she prepped for the relay seems so to me too ^^

One also good thing was the Tomomi fight Itano Tomomi was like "WTH only this stick .. slaps on Kasai Tomomi" ... -> unarms and goes to close quater combat

Yeah this should be either an extra DVD release (as the performances where shurely not shot for be just shows in those small inlets) or an Shukan AKB DVD .. I think the first should be right.
That it will be on some sort of DVD is clear on the Mayuyu fight as the words she get's "shouted at" where cut out and will be on DVD if I understood it right.

Oh I do like these swimming episodes

I love how Jurina and Mayu were mostly clothed during the performances, whilst everyone else was in their bikinis. It's not too surprising in Jurina's case

, but Mayu is older than a lot of them! I guess they were trying to protect her 'cute' image. Speaking of cute, Rena in her bikini-like clothing had the ironic effect of making her look ever cuter!

Oh and Senbatsu boooo.

Yeah Rena looked stunningly cute (and beautfull too). The clothing nicely enhanced her (really nice) figure "aspects" + cuteness

And the performance of Aozora kataomoi was also good too look at.

Sorry my caps are quite bad, but this is great. While they are singing “Aitakatta”, Mariko and Tomochin want to play, so they try to catch somebody.

If you can look further than Mayu, Aika and Myao, you will see: first a girl (in green) running, and then a little group following her (Mariko, Maeda, Itano, Kojima). And then you can follow Mariko and Itano.
