I thought the B side for "Sakura no Shiori" is going to be the theme song for Majisuka Gakuen "Majisuka Rock'n'Roll" so that means 4 songs on the 15th single? Does this mean possibly 4 PVs? If this is the case then even if people don't like the A-side there'll be lots of additional selling points.

Anyway, Majisuka Gakuen is only days/hours away!

So both versions will have "Sakura no Shiori" and "Majisuka Rock 'n' Roll" but whether it's the YJ song or PB song will depend on what version people buy?

Well, kind of. The PB and YJ songs are on different versions. You only get 3 tracks per CD.
And I believe Majisuka has a PV too.
Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

Sakura no Shiori its a BIG surprise, I dont know how the non-hard-core-japanese-fans will take this single. Maybe thats why they release 2 types this time. Trying to get all the sales they can?? Maybe.

Yes, Its a good and sweet song (maybe too sweet) but for me I still waiting for Majusika Rock N' Roll and its PV (if there is any). If you see carefully this single have a lot of support extras; 2 extra song and PV s (Team PB, and YJ) in 2 different versions, and a B-side that is the Opening of a new DRAMA, drama related songs always help.

So, I feel that AKS dont trust to much in Sakura No Shiori, and after hear it I can understand why.

Double releases are of course hardly uncommon, especially in the idol industry, but the situation does have a very cynical feeling to it.

Well as you can see from looking at this thread and the SnS thread at s48, people do like it.
And wota WILL buy it.
And other people hopefully will.
And there's the two versions with different songs (which are good) and Majisuka (which seems to be good and is for a drama which will hopefully gain fans like Mendol did. MOAR SALES.)

It's probably not going to flop as hard as you think, Nizmo.

This will be a good opportunity to see the real AKB48 fanbase. RIVER atracted a lot of nonwotas, this one have a chance to catch some nonwotas as well, but the style its very different. A lot of japanese girls will get hooked im sure, but who knows how much?

If they hit the 150K I'll be surprised, and I want to be surprised
