Yeah a low quality live recording shouldn't be very representative. What I heard so far of it I did like, but we definitely need a better version. You know I've been thinking if the title of the song is kinda symbolic for them...I hope this "new start" with a live band again will make this year a super successful one for them...and that it won't be their last.

 

Also, two members of Keyakizaka46 went to the concert and wrote about it in their blog so that should help nicely with getting TGS some more exposure.

I like the song too. It sounds great and especially Yuri somehow really shined in that video. Not sure why they decided to release studio audio with live video though, especially since they played with a band there. It seems odd. Also not really a fan of the CD cover design

No big news really but I still feel like posting it. She makes no mention of the Ebichu girl so I guess they didn't know each other. Talks a bit about school and going to Hong Kong soon because of their shows. What I found somewhat interesting that she openly mentioned how she (already) received Valentine's Day chocolate from a boy. Even if they aren't counted as idols anymore I still find it quite surprising she'd openly mention it.

Maybe she mentions it because usually girls make chocolates for boys so it's rare if a boy makes it and give it to a girl... sound like she encourages boys to do so?

Yeah I also figured she probably found it nice because it's a quite unusual thing to do. And it seems in character for her too to not think too much about possible "negative" interpretations by a small amount of the fans.

Looking at the footage, I'm glad I didn't bother. Has more the feel of an in-store than a concert, so not something I'd have wanted to pay so much (with travel costs to figure in) to see. Hate to see them wearing those trashy t-shirts; I know other idol groups have also worn them, but I associate them as the kind of thing AV makers pick up cheap in Shibuya for girls to wear...and quickly discard!
