^She seemed pretty determined to watch that Country Girls performance. They started late cause the timing for strawberry stage got messed up and her and her group kept leaving the area (the girls only viewing area for Strawberry stage) but they kept coming back. In the end one of the members got called away and only Tanabe and the shorter member with the ponytail (I don't know the other girls names) could watch.

^I'm glad Tanapyon finally get to see Country Girls, when she wanted to see them so much.
I don't like this years venue for @JAM EXPO particaularly becoz of Strawberry Stage.
When it was held at Yokohama Arena, the center of the stadium was used as Strawberry Stage, so it had the 2nd tier balcony for other idols to sit around and watch other idols perform. This year the hall for Strawberry Stage was so small and with no viewing area/gallery other than the main floor.

^This was my first time going but I did hear it was the first time at this hall instead of Yokohama. I kinda liked it because at each stage by the girls section there was just like this other sectioned off area where a lot of the idols went to watch other performers so you got to get pretty close. Like I watched OnePixcel literally standing directly beside Up Up Girls (who were so freaking nice omg) and I was by Passpo for another one and lots of other groups I didn't know. And then low level artists (like with OnePixcel) just wandered around. I would have liked to see it in Yokohama Arena as well though.

I was actually not sure if I would because I hadn't really seen anything from OnePixcel before (but of course I always liked Tanapyon). But I decided to anyway (and I did see one of their lives at JAM after that). Tanapyon was soooo surprised and soooo happy when I told her where I was from! It was so worth it. The other two girls were also really nice! Ami actually spoke a bit of English too!

I could clearly see that like half the people that went to JAM for Country Girls also went to check her out ^.^

 

I'll sure follow them more from now on.

I see. I couldn't see this sectioned off area in the videos so I thought they didn't had one.

To give you an idea what I was talking about earlier, this is a video from last year during UUG's performance at Strawberry Stage.
Jump forward to 14:40 (Upper cut performance).
When they start running around the stadium you could see big empty sections on both side of the stage. This was where idols would sit an watch. You could actually see some groups sitting on the floor as UUG run by them.


Yes I have heard stories from fans who attended that you can mingle with the idols at @JAM as long as you don't "touch them" ( well you know what I mean ) Its the same at TIF. I think it is common at large idol/music events like this.

Did they have the Sports Festival at @JAM EXPO this time? I haven't heard anything about it.

I wonder, does it say anything specific as for the reasons she left? She used to be out for a long time, stating poor health as reason. I guess there won't be said much more than this because this is how things go in the business but on the off chance...I'd like to know.

As far as they've said, she went down with dehydration at the end of July and never came back.  Not healthy enough to resume activities.  Whether or not that was actually true we'll never know.  I kind of get the feeling from what we saw of her publicly that health or not, this was more of a parental decision.  She is still a teenage girl, after all.

 

Anyway, they're holding an audition for new members now and they've scheduled their first single release for 11/23.

I see, thanks for the explanation. It's really a shame, she seemed to be a very cheerful person who was loved by the other three a lot.

Tanapyon was at C-ute's last concert. She posted a picture at the venue from her twitter.

Glad she still enjoys going to H!P events - she must have happy memories of her time there.

Apparently she performed with Okai Chisato and a bunch of other idols at TIF, does anyone have any details?

The stage Okai was main MC was called "C-ute Daisuki Stage." Everyone that participated was a C-ute fan, which obviously includes Tanapyon.



The one with Tanapyon is the last batch. They preformed Dance de Bakoon.

I just watched the video of the full show.
At the closing MC they called out Tanapyon!!!
That was such a nice gesture. It made Tanapyon tear up. Heck I teared up a bit too
