It's my theory that the office realized they f'd up when they let her get away and, in their customary reactionary way, did what they could to debut as many of the promising KSS as they could afterwards, hence the Factories and girls like Kaede, Ruru, Icchan. The stories of those girls saying "I was ready to quit" abounds.

Anyway, Tanapyon just wrapped up a leading role in a play and now begins a One Pic tour. She wrote a wonderful blog about her experience in as graceful and humble of a manner one could expect:

Tanapyon cut her hair to a bob. She said her hair hadn't been this short since middle school.

Looks like her group Onepixcel is disbanding near the end of June. I'm surprised, I thought they were doing well.

They're all staying in entertainment to do their own thing. I think with the same company, but I haven't looked into it closely.

That really sucks to hear that OnePixcel is disbanding 

 

If they are going to stay in the entertainment industry, and won't continue singing or being idols, then I hope Nanami gets a shot at film or television.

I would like to see how she does in a Tokusatsu, like Kuduu did... except as maybe one of the cute-type pink rangers instead of one of the cool-type ones.

Since she works for Toho, you would think there would be plenty of opportunities for her and her other OnePixcel group members, right? I hope so...
