Kaori always seemed like a mature but passive person, those people usually work well in a team because they are reliable but don't like to go it alone and fight for the spotlight. So I suspect Tsunku forced her to graduate as a sink or swim exercise.

I think Yuko still holds the record for oldest graduation age right? But then she started out the oldest as well

I heard she also had her graduation concert. Yaguchi said something about Ishiguro's graduation concert during her radio show, Anatan iru kara. However, as we have known, it was not released in DVD.
