@Ichigoproject: Most people who like Japanese music like J-rock, not so much pop. I've seen Dir en grey, miyabi, an cafe etc. being popular. One exception tho, someone sang Koha's Koi Kana in the Finnish Idol competition <3

@Hestah: You think Tokyo Hotel has anything to do with the "hair gel anime style"? :(

There's quite a few Scandinavians on this site that I know of. I'm from Norway myself. I don't know anyone in real life that have any particular interest in Japan, except for my brother, but he doesn't really care about Japanese music.

I'm a Swede too, 18 years old. I have managed to get my brother interested but apart from him I don't know anyone except from gordokaba who I've met a few times. Go Scandinavian fans :good:

Yes, Japanese music is a pretty big thing in Finland right now, my school is filled with 13year old girls who are like screaming "An Cafe~" and trying to talk Japanese like saying "Kawaii" all the time, and that is just so embarrassing. It just doesn't make me feel like I want to tell about me liking Japanese music too... If some one asks do I like Japanese music I say that I do, but I don't want to make a big deal about it.

But I seriously would love to talk about Hello!Project with some one like "face to face" XD

^ I know I you feel. I don't go around talking about my interest either- It's really a weird feeling to talk about H!P with someone, face-to-face like you said. Last weekend I had the chance, and it really felt weird  .

So now we need some Danish and Icelandic people only to report, come on! :)

^ Sorry Marida, one more from Finland ;P

I know only few who listen H!P music (they can be counted by one hand).

Norway here =D

Yeah, like most people I don't know any one who understands why I'm in to this. I have friends who like Anime, but none that like H!P -_-

I can't convert anyone either, but I feel the right to tell them how awesome Yaguchi and Momo is

It's really weird trying to talk about H!P to people who don't understand or care :omg: Like this weekend I was trying to explain why I was so bummed that Koharu was leaving H!P. :)
I totally have a blog now!

Whohoo! Finland here! :) (The capital to be exact.)

I'm sure there are more people who like H!P in Oslo, but sometimes I feel like I'm the only one

In a few weeks there is a Japan convention here in Oslo. I've never been to one of these before, but I'm going to wear my Momoko t-shirt. See if anyone knows who she is XD probably not XD

I didn't know there were any local conventions.

^ Well there are some cons, some related to Japanese culture, Animecon and so forth. I guess focused on cosplay a lot. But they're a good chance to find minds alike. Although, many of the attenders are so young ^_^ .

^ Yes, some focuse on cosplay, like CosplayGaala, but mainly it is supposed to be a side thing. Which fails when masses of teenagers don't seem to know anything else in animeculture than cosplay XD

(We'll, I suppose I can't complain since I cosplay too and I help organizing most of the biggest cosplaycontests in Finnish conventions XD )

But it would be a nice change if one could ramble around about Hello!Project to someone who actually knows it really.
