Kikuchi and Serina are probably some of my least favorite girls but leaving out Miyake is inconceivable!
Kaede seems to be becoming their version of Jurina (overrated and not that cute or funny, but being shoved down everyone's throats constantly). Just my opinion though.
Odd that Kurata Ruka isn't there either. Maybe she's got a bikini aversion, like some other idols (Takahashi Minami, Yoshizawa Hitomi) but she doesn't seem like she would. Fonchi, Serina, Sakai and Nomoto not being there is understandable though since the ppl on the show seem to love bringing up how chubby they are (except for Nomoto but you can see it a little).

Been getting into Idoling!!! recently. Must admit, it took me a while for it to all click, but I've been listening to SUNRISE recently and have really enjoyed it, spurring me to watch the TV show - probably the most important part. Time to dig into the old episodes...

First member to catch my eye was Yazawa Erika. She seems to be one of the most popular members.

3rd Anniversary! Congratz!

Been getting into Idoling!!! recently. Must admit, it took me a while for it to all click, but I've been listening to SUNRISE recently and have really enjoyed it, spurring me to watch the TV show - probably the most important part. Time to dig into the old episodes...

First member to catch my eye was Yazawa Erika. She seems to be one of the most popular members.

Try watching some subbed videos by Onegai~Fansubbing!!! I personally like the show around 1st generation era. We are still working on subbing episode 161-162 which was 2 episodes before their debut single release. A heart-touching episodes but funny at the end.

And for most popular member, as for now, Endo Mai is the most popular member on imatsubu (Fuji TV's twitter-like service) and Yokoyama Rurika is the most popular member at handshake event. By average, Yokoyama Rurika is the most popular member.

For myself, my favorites on the tv show is Okawa, Kikuchi, Fonchi, and Yazawa. The Idoling!!! mood makers.
On the live stage, Yokoyama, Endo, Tonooka, and Kawamura. The Idoling!!! 4 aces when it comes to live stage.

Yeah. I was hoping the PV will be more like "Mujouken Koufuku", but this is not bad.
And I think the song is better than the previous single "Me ni wa Aoba Yama Hototogisu Hatsukoi".

I don't really care about popularity. Everyone has their own charming point.
For examples:
1. Dancing ability: Rurika, Umeko, Hii-sama, Ai-chan, Ton-chan. And Ruka-chan is a good newcomer on this division.
2. Singing ability: Maipuru, Umeko, Rurika, Ton-chan. And Fonchi is getting better lately.
3. Appearence: Rurika, Hii-sama. These two Ojou-sama are my perfect types.
4. Mood maker: Amimi, Yazawa, Kaede-chan, Suu-chan. Asahi and Ai-chan are funny lately, but everyone is funny on the right moment. I can say this is the ability of BAKARHYTHM Masuno Hidetomo, Idoling!!! main MC. He is a genius behind what Idoling!!! has become right now.

This is the only idol group that entertains me so much.
