Yeah, that's why I don't like tofu, I always feel like I'm eating nothing or hot air.Tofu is one of those versatile ingredients which can be used in anything because it does not have any flavor of it's own and can be made into various forms and textures.
That blank taste always gets me. They float nicely in a soup though.

Then you should try some flavored tofu because tofu absorbs flavors quite readily. For example, the 5 spice dried tofu is an excellent snack because it is cooked with spices, then dried, getting all the flavor but not so oilyYeah, that's why I don't like tofu, I always feel like I'm eating nothing or hot air.Tofu is one of those versatile ingredients which can be used in anything because it does not have any flavor of it's own and can be made into various forms and textures.

Somebody already mentioned Tofu Steak. Actually I am not a fan of tofu, but I LOVE Tofu Steak!!!! It is because of the sauce. When it is nice and hot, I really like the combination of the flavor and the texture.Yeah, that's why I don't like tofu, I always feel like I'm eating nothing or hot air.
Also I like the taste of tofu inside miso soup. Oh boy, now I'm getting so hungry!!!
Finally I am a BIG fan of gyoza and shumai ... yummmmm .

I'm also a pretty big fan of beef or chicken teriyaki. Not to mention that I love Gyoza and Ramen noodles. Tofu is okay though.
Yakisoba is another fave of mine. Same as curry in general.
