Hello! Project Official Shop FAQ

Q: How do I buy things at these shops?
A: At the front of each store, there are white order sheets and pencils. Take one of each and then go search for items you want that are posted on the walls. Beside each item will be an item number. Write down on the sheet the item number and quantity you want. Write your name on the back of the sheet, at the bottom (Try to write your name in Japanese if you can.) Now go line up at the counter and a staff will take your sheet and take your payment. After you pay, hang around the shop and wait for your name to be called. Go to the staff who calls your name, he/she will go over with you all the items you have purchased to make sure everything is correct.

Q: What kind of things can I buy from these shops?
A: Photos, CDs, Photobooks, photo binders, and more. *Concert goods are not sold at the official shops.

Q: How much do pictures costs?
A: Prices varies. L size photos are 150yen each. 2L size are 300yen each. Metallic and bigger unusual size photos will cost more.

Q: What form of payment do they take?
A: Cash and Hello! Project Credit Cards only.

Q: When I am paying for my items, the staff points to the pictures under the glass counter, why?
A: You are being asked to pick a free bonus picture, probably because of an item you are purchasing or the shop is doing a special give away campaign. Additionally, Fan Club members can also get bonus pictures by showing their membership cards.

Q: The picture on the wall that I want to buy has a label covering the picture, why?
A: It means the picture is sold out. However, if the picture is part of a set, you might still be able to obtain the picture by purchasing the entire set if the set is not sold out.

Q: I don't know Japanese, do the staffs speak English?
A: Most likely not. Try to learn some simple Japanese before you go (A good idea for visiting Japan overall). If you must speak English, please do so slowly and with simple words.

Q: Can I take pictures inside the stores?
A: Absolutely not! They also do not allow food or drinks.

Q: Where can I find more information about this topic?
A: http://haropedia.mrwaffle.org/wiki/Hello!Project_Stores

Harajuku store has shifted position.. will update soon

Someone gave me the instructions to the harajuku store a long time ago and then when I went to Japan I couldn't find it lol. So I ended up going to the one in Ueno instead.
I think the idol shops in harajuku had better H!P merchandise then the actual official store >.>
