The idol battle with Morning Musume。'17 and ANGERME (that asobista thing) will be streamed "live" (sic) on April 16th from 3pm (JST).

(Just at the right time for some people like me who have another thing scheduled that day... if you see what I mean)

From the asobista game, there's a notice determining the generals for each battle, on the notice(s) it is said that Miyazaki Yuka will be participating instead of Aikawa Maho is that right?

I feel so frustrated and jealous about J=J getting to do a world tour while Anju haven't got the chance to go even to a country close to Japan like Hong Kong or Taïwan... I'd love to see Ayacho in France but it feels like it won't ever happen :(

On a more positive thing, Kana and Rikako commented "Mini Skirt Postwoman"'s MV in this week H!S

I laughed when she explained that she dropped her bag. You can see it on the floor, around 39:15!

Ange has members still in compulsory education and underage. Overseas concerts are not as easy for them as they are for a group where none of the members have many domestic commitments. It's the same reason why MM doesn't do them with any sort of frequency, and Ange is not on par with MM in terms of international popularity. There are lots of barriers. Much less with Juice. It makes sense.

^^ Well, now that you say it... In France, I think it is forbidden to work for kids under 16, so i guess that at the moment it must even be totally impossible, and maybe it will remain like this for a few years with Momona being so young (and the possibility of adding younger member when she grows up...).
But, even though I couldn't go and see them, I'd like them to have an oversea's concert, i'm sure they would be super happy... .

I don't think age really is that big of a factor. MM performed in the USA when haga is the same age as Momona is now. Sooo

What's POSSIBLE and what's EASY are different. It's EASIER for J=J to travel.
There is no group EASIER to take on an extended overseas tour than J=J (℃ is close, but they have too little time left, so now they're darn near impossible)

Also, as far as I know, no J=J members have enrolled in university, so they are all full-time performers.
Also, J=J has half as many members...

My dream for Ange overseas is SXSW... anybody know people in Austin?
What I've learned about Japanese so far, is that you must first pay attention to these 2 things: Rule #1 and Context. After that, just pray they remember their high-school English class.

I do, but Japan Nite is not pop-oriented and it's much harder to get a non-Japan Nite slot without a large wave of support behind them. Personally I feel if Red Velvet can get a slot, any pop act should, but I think it's far more likely for one of the WACK groups to make it, should any idol group pursue breaking into SXSW.

Yeah but they're the flagship and they came to Houston on a weekend. Outside of their mid/high school members, none of them have any serious commitments either because no one has a steady gig or goes to uni. It's also unlikely JJ's tour is gonna consist of all weekend dates. Probably a bunch of dates at the most inconvenient times possible like most Asian acts who come here.

You gotta also think about how profitable these events probabky are. Likely doesn't make sense to do them often or send a larger group that won't bring in any more people than the smaller one.

Suppose it depends, different countries and different laws, timing etc. I remember Morning Musume went to Paris for an event around the same time C-ute had a concert there but it wasn't the whole group not sure why that was. It becomes more difficult when you need to juggle their Japanese tours, school exam times and the laws of countries that have certain requirements for performers under adult age. The USA and the world are not the same thing so it's like where do they want to do it, it's probably much easier when an opportunity pops up where an event happening invites a group and they can arrange everything for them.

That's all before the company considers how much faith they have in a group pulling a crowd in though honestly I think just about any H!P group would do fine in most countries because there are people who will see any group that comes to their country regardless of if they like them because they have whatever difficulties going to Japan to see them.

Besides what has been talk about ..There is also the size of the group to think about ..
I did not came out with it myself .. it was told to me by a JTB staff some time back ..
I was with a group of fans in my country's airport waiting for some idols to arrive ..
So my friends started trying to shake some info and network with some of the staff there ..
The staff turn out to be from JTB ..and it was told to us...
That's why its hard for 48G to travel and perform fully as they operate in 16 member set up for performance ..

The bigger the group .. the more it cost to bring them over ..
You got to include the cost of staffs following .. and the bigger the group the more staff is needed..

Don't think we can expect them take budget or discounts flight and 1-2 star hotel lodging..

So that's why you see .. groups that travel more often are like C-ute and J=J
If you look at other groups in the past ..
TGS travel a lot too .. and for iDOL Street the group that travel are Wa-Suta
Guess the magic number is 5

I am not saying that is the main reason but of course schedule and a bunch of other reasons plays a part
But the organizers at the other end must have deep pockets ..

Ayacho announced on her blog that they will have an Angerme-Exhibition at the Akihabara Hello Shop (i think it's how it's called in english?) starting from the 15th. It isn't decided yet how long it will take place.

http://ameblo.jp/ang...2265278431.html

Title : Kyuui Ittai Exhibition

I have an announcement.
I will carry out an Angerme-Kyuui Ittai Exhibition!
I did everything, starting from the project.
It's one of the things I want to do, and I'll be able to do it!

The place is "Harosho Tôkyô Akihabara-ten". (Akihabara Hello! Shop)
You can see the exhibition starting from the 15th at the hour when the shop opens!
(10:00 ~ 18:00)
We don't know for what period yet!
But, you'd better hurry!

This exhibition is about last year's tour Kyuui Ittai. We were able to have a concert tour, and gave various lives.
Starting from the first repetitions and until the final, while accumulating the events, my feelings that we all build Angerme, with the members, the staff, and the fans, this feeling became more and more stronger.

I tried to make this feeling into an exhibition.
It's not that I was told to do so, I wanted, by myslef, to give a form to my thoughts, and I thought that an exhibition would be really good for this.
Furthermore, I was somehow imagining that I would like to do an Angerme exhibition so,, I thought that putting those feelings into a display was perfect.

I was thinking about this exhibition from around the end of last year.
From then, I was always hesitating on what display-method I should chose, what kind of things I wanted to put in the exhibition... .
Then, I listened to a lot of stories about the things in this exhibition, and thought about the composition.
I built a summarize of the project, obtained the agreements... (laughs).

And finally,
I built the panels!

(pic : http://ameblo.jp/ang...912979284.html)

The exhibition is a surprise (= you have to go and see it to know).

On the 15th, there is an event called "senya ichiya (one thousand and one nights)".
It is an event in relation with the exhibition.
I think that the persons who plan to come to the event should go and see the exhibition before this, so they'll enjoy it more, maybe?

Bye bye
