The issue with not wanting to give potentially bad translations is a lot of the reason I'm so reluctant to share mine as well.  With so few people that give translations in general, that makes anything translated a potential source for hundreds or more western fans that could be misinformed if something isn't translated well.  I'll make exceptions at times if I'm reasonably confident that I'm conveying the correct message, someone requests it, and I know it probably won't be otherwise translated any time soon.  I'm just not confident enough to do so regularly since I'm also of the mindset that there's a point where enough may be lost in a poor translation that it may as well not be translated at all.

^Yes, exactly! I want to help out others enjoy H!P but at the same time I worry I'm doing more harm than good...

 

I keep telling myself, "When my Japanese is better, I'll have to start a H!P subbing team and get as many trusted and reliable translators in the fandom as I can together to work on stuff", but I feel like by that time I may not have the time to do it. lol

at 43 minutes in, Matsuko tells Tsunku how much he enjoyed Tsunku's EDM (Electronic Dance Music) era songs for Morning Musume. It captivated Matsuko when One Two Three, Wakuteka, Help Me etc. came out. Tsunku was trying to do to something different and experiment with EDM to counter AKB48 at the time. Tsunku's 6 or 7 EDM songs came at the right time.

at 37:15, Matsuko also loved Tsunku's Curry Rice no Onna by Sonim.

Oh that song was fantastic. I really love Tsunku's music and Yoshiko's routines. I want to find out more about this show, but I don't have the time. However, I did find a bit of background info.

The show's alright. I'm pretty sure they rig the judge votes.

Coincidentally the most interesting part of last season were the parts with Tsunku in them because they kept showing how he treated the girls like his own daughters. Giving them advice not just on how to improve themselves for the show, but for their future as idols/performers. It was some tear-jerking stuff. He definitely had the best relationship with his group, and he wasn't even physically there for half the show lol.

Thanks, I'll read up on the thread! I have aspirations to produce an idol group, so his words are always relevant to me. I'm looking forward to watching his interaction with those girls.
