I started this because I don't think there had ever been just a blatant "who's the prettiest" thread. Of course this is superficial--and judging by how many people have stated that their favorite isn't in the top three, it goes to show that what we like about Momusus is a sum of so many things, how cute they are, how talented they are, how funny they are and how nice and sweet they are........

I was watching a vid of a handshake event and Eri was grabbing hands, smiling and looking right into the faces of all of her fans as if she really ENJOYED doing this! Maybe she saw that the camera was on her or maybe all of the girls have been extremely coached on how to give good fan service but the charm is that they make you BELIEVE that they're down-home, everyday people who truly enjoy every aspect of being an idol. And since we can watch their entire history with Momusu, from auditions to training to being on shows and FC events and just doing ordinary things, we know that that is the case..........that these girls were just normal everyday girls who happened to get the biggest break of their lives and become idols.

Considering the innate humble nature of Japanese people and knowing the histories of the girls, they are so much more appealling than any American popstar equivalent. I think it strikes a chord with people all over the world once they get captured into their aura.

Ninja-Man: It's not my intention to put this to a vote or I would have created a poll. I just wanted to see who got mentioned the most often and whether anyone would elaborate (most don't, I see) on why they feel the way they do. I'm still surprised that Yuko has been mentioned so often so this has been enlightening. Just as I'm surprised that Kaorin hasn't gotten more votes.

I just watched the Ai no Tane segment from ASAYAN (their very first appearance) and they all looked so plain...........even their hair looked like it needed to be washed.............and then I watched the Morning Coffee video and saw the wonders of what good styling and makeup can do!
