Whenever i watch photobook making-ofs, particularly WaniBooks (hello! project)

The background music is so chilling, soothing and it sets the atmosphere~

Okay, this might get a bit too general, but what's the genre?

Are there any examples of albums or soundtracks related to photobook music?

I suspect theres heroin in it, somehow.

"I suspect theres heroin in it, somehow."
What!?!?! You may have to clear this up for some.... :P

A lot of music for stuff like PBs and whatnot are stock music selections that are available for purchase, or a studio will hire musicians to write some "standard" pieces that will work well for certain moods. At the end, during the credits you can find who is responsible for the music. That would be a place to start a search if you are looking for the composer/artist that was part of a specific release. ^_^

What!? You mean I am not the only one who turns on PB Making of DVD's just to listen to the music?!

OK, I don't only listen to the DVD's, but I understand what you are saying, HarD-. Some of the tracks on those DVD's are quite nice, and fit well with the view. But, yes, as jaargilon said, they are "stock" tracks, available for purchase specifically as musical scores for such things.

As for heroin being involved, I have seen quite a few heroines when watching those DVD's. :P

Wait... I think I get the "heroin" reference. The suggestion must be that to write music so relaxed one would need to be under the influence of a strong opiate.

Wow... that's really appropriate for this forum.

Yes, of course. Opiates are from Asia. Opiates come from poppies. Poppies start with "pop". So, heroin is from Asian pop. This is a forum dedicated to Asian pop. (Oh, I can't believe I even wasted my time with that stupid pun!)

Haha! I knew there'd be other similar people around.

Somehow it reminds me of the music you hear when you're in hotel restrooms.

Deja vu anyone?

thanks to the music played in the bg of pb making of, I was able to discover and enjoy the songs that I usually doesn't pay attention to, such as album tracks and b-side songs.
for example, I got to hear Morning Musume - Lemon Iro to Milk Tea the first time on Eri's Love-hello video, and also Iroppoi Jirettai's b-side Ai to Taiyou ni Tsutsumarete.
And from then on, I started paying attention to the bg music.

i love the music of first rihoriho photobook, it's so relaxing and cute, but what i find funny and interesting is that some of the songs used in photobooks, even those that are not of haropuro are repeated  :sly:
