- MUCC - Pretty much the best JRock band imo, their music was a lot more aggressive earlier, but they're still awesome. Their new album "Gokusai" is incredible.
- The Gazette - Loved the last three singles, I think they're improving a lot. "Filth in the Beauty" rox.
- Gackt - Well.. Everyone knows him. I love to sing along to "Arittake no Ai de". :blush
- Luna Sea - "Crazy about you" and "I for you" are simply beautiful.
- Taia - A new JRock band with a woman as a front singer, which isn't often the case in JRock. "Asymmetry" is impressive for a first album.
- Miyavi - His guitar strumming is awesome. But everyone knows him anyway..
- D'espairs Ray - "Garnet" got me hooked up. Awesome song, heavy guitar riffs combined with classic instruments.
- Laruku - The Japanese Rolling Stones? They've been in this business for.. like forever?
JPop:
- Momusu - who woulda thought?
- YUI - She writes all her songs, plays guitar and looks almost scared when she's not holding her guitar. In one word: Sugoi.
- Younha - She started playing piano at the age of 4, learned Japanese all by herself by watching Japanese TV and now she's becoming a star in Japan. Jeez.. She's like perfect.
- Chihiro Onitsuka - Her voice is incredible. You should try her song "Gekkou", it's gonna blow your mind.
- Rie Fu - Everyone who knows Bleach will know her as well. She's one of the few JPop-artists with almost perfect English skills.
- Mikuni Shimokawa - Full Metal Panic openings and endings. Does that ring a bell? "Minami Kaze" ftw!
- Mika Nakashima - Never really liked her til I listened to the "NANA" album.
- Ayu - Well, yeah, her new album "Secret" was so good, I just had to put her in my list.
Other:
- Dragon Ash - One of the first bands to be successful with Hip-Hop in Japan. And one of the best. Check out "Deep Impact".
Don't break the Pocky in your hearts.

H!P (of course!! )
BoA (I'm really amazed by her)
w-inds. (though they were better a couple of years ago)
Ai Otsuka (a cute girl with a cute voice)
Hinoi Team (I really like their dances, specially to Night On Fire)
Koda Kumi (she has a great voice)
NewS (very good looking boys ^^)
Tegomasu (two of the boys from NewS in their own duo)
Ayumi Hamasaki (she's.. special in her own way)
I think those are the only J-pop/K-pop (BoA) artists I listen to^^
But I also recomend this Swedish guy name Måns Zelmerlöw.
This song is called Cara Mia and came on third place in a Swedish competition some weeks ago (he should have won though)
Here's the PV: http://www.youtube.c...4...ted&search=
And here's the Live version from the competition:
