As long as it has never been uploaded before, it's fine.
When uploading old pictures, please use the Picboard search function to check if the pictures are indeed never uploaded.

^Anybody can upload pictures.

How to do it:

1. Click on the picboard tab.
2. Go to "My Pages" under the tab.
3. Go to "Upload Pictures".
4. Read the rules first, then upload the images.
5. Click "Next"
6. Select categories
7. And you upload the images.

I'd like to know where you guys take all the pictures you upload here. I'm interested in Photoshop and would like to have pictures to use. It would be nice to try to make them look more graphical (or "artististic") in character, although I don't know if people here were interested in seeing anything kind.

Is it ok to use my H!P material (DVDs and photobooks, for example) to catch pictures and upload the results? And am I allowed to download pictures from the picboard for further development?

I haven't found any rules for these kind of things.

You cannot upload personal edits of images to the picboard no. For that there are threads on the forum.

No personal edits to the picboard, ok. I try to find approbriate threads.

As for scanning your materials and uploading them to picboard, it depends on whether such images were uploaded before or not. We do not encourage uploading of old pictures, as there is enough new stuff to upload every day. If you want to share self-scanned (and NOT altered in any way) photobooks etc, the best way is to make a torrent of them. But even though, first check if there is no other copy of the same PB active in the torrent section.

As for downloading pictures from the picboard, of course you are free to download any image you want, and then process it in any way you find suitable. But as Krusha said, do not upload the results (altered pictures) to the picboard again.

Just letting the people in charge of the picboard.

I visit H!O and the picboard everyday to save and upload. So if you ever need another hand please consider me into the draw since I'm a crazy person that has nearly all picboard images of the girls saved onto my hard drive. So I could easily tell which a double ups and also handle flamming.

i seem to be having some issues with the picboard this evening. some of the pics are broken links. there's also a momo pic that is a morning musume pic, but when i click on it, then i see momo. i don't know if it's just me, or maybe others are having the same problems.

will there be some user preferences to automaticaly select 'H!p' instead of 'all' on the picboard ?
i'm often going there from work and this isn't too much worksafe anymore (not that is was ever )

and will there be some "edit comment" option again onpicboard ?

As for duplicate pictures being an issue.

Perhaps there could be a field for the event the image is from. This would make searching easier if say you had a Maji Bomber Miyabi picture and could filter it down some. Then it would be much easier than filtering through some 50+ pages for an image that may only be 2 months old.

I remember there was a flag a few years ago for untagged pictures that allowed members to mark the photos to the correct H!P member. Maybe this could be implemented again for an event tag?
