It was her first no.1 single, which started her string of 8 successive no.1 singles throughout the whole of 1987 and 1988! She must have been Japan's most popular female J-pop singing idol back then...

Great song, was one of the Sukeban Deka II ending themes!
LOL, it's amusing this board has been kept alive by only 2 people! I Can't believe there aren't ANY other Nanno fans on the board though..... Well regardless I'll probably keep on posting stuff on this thread anyways
Well it's been about a month so... time for me to post back in our quiet little Nanno thread. Anyways here's a Downtown skit with what appears to be a Nanno poster in the background: http://www.youtube.c...ature=rec-HM-r2 (not really a Nanno vid.. but I wanted to post here again so the poster is relevant enough to give me an excuse )
I'm in a Nanno mood now, so in my opinion, nobody else's smiling face can hold a candle to sweet Nanno's, , in the last 20 seconds of this 1-minute clip!
^Wow... surprised to see a post here after such a long time (it's been nearly a year... Ahh nostalgia).
Actually I'm in somewhat of a Nanno mood as well however I can't access Youtube at the moment (My laptop's monitor died or something and the computer's @ school block Youtube).
Now I'm starting to regret I didn't buy the Nanno album I found back when I was in Japan(I saw it one day at Bookoff but planned to buy it later but when I came back some one else had bought it)
Any particular Nanno vids you've watched before that you feel like watching again? I could download (from YouTube) and upload (to sendspace) a few of them (tell me whether you prefer mp4 or avi format) for you! And don't worry about me, I'm on a kind of holiday (staying at home) for the foreseeable future!

OLDIES BUT GOODIES:minamino yoko http://tsuzilla.blogspot.com/search/label/minamino%20yoko (Someone uploaded the mp3s of all the tracks from 5 of Nanno's best-selling studio albums, although only a few of her singles are among those tracks)
Free NANNO goodies galore!!! Mp3s of all the tracks from nearly every Nanno album (plus album covers!)!!! (The main website, and its forum, uses the Thai language, but I think we probably won't be needing to understand Thai for our purposes! )
^WOW, thank you very much for all the links Faraithi!
As for videos... the only one I can think of that the moment that I'd really like to see is that Sukeban Deka parody on Tunnels(http://jp.youtube.co...h?v=kNVhiWZ7ubE)... though if I remember correctly the video was removed a while ago. But just incase it is still there (I can't check the link myself at the moment) avi would be best. Thank you so much
sadly I can't afford any of the CDs at the moment as while I was in Japan from August to February I spent quite a bit of money...- http://www.hello-onl...w...62&st=3000# here's where I posted my H!P collection as of December if you want to get somewhat of an idea, LOL... not counting all the non-H!P stuff I bought and the stuff I bought January and February (actually if you were to look at the most recent purchase thread in that time frame I probably had a post there at least 3 or 4 times a week )... I basically was Book Off's VIP ... But anyways I'm getting off topic so thanks again for all the links!

Fortunately, I'm in a Nanno mood these few days ( ), so it was a pleasure!

You're right; I just checked and it has been removed, so I'm not sure which exact clip you'd like to see, but is this the one?
スケバンドラマコント
(It was uploaded by yukikaze002C less than a year ago on 03 August 2009.)

Actually, that might be a blessing in disguise because if you had money now, you might have wasted it by buying those CDs when you could have just downloaded all, or nearly all, her albums from the internet for free!
I basically was Book Off's VIP
Were they afraid that you might have bought up everything?
^Thank you for the file, and I beleive it's the same one (unfortunately the computers here at school can't seem to render the video so I can only hear the audio but it sounds like the same one .... looks like I won't be able to watch them until I get my own computer working again and by that point I'll be able to access youtube myself anyways ).

Well that's true.... though one can't argue that it's nice to legally own it , but for now shouganai (can't be helped)...

I doubt it... Book Offs really do have an amazing amount of stuff. They had so many copies of some of the CDs/Manga/Photobooks etc.. I was buying at many locations... and they sold them for so cheap they obviously had no qualms with getting rid of them . Actually beleieve it or not I saw a Nanno photobook from the early 90's at a few different Book Offs... sadly though Nanno CDs proved to be rarer.... in the end I found CDs by all the other late 80's/early 90's idols I was interested in(Saito Yuki, Asaka Yui, Onyanko Club... although very expensive considering they were second hand, Wink) except Nanno (excluding the time I mentioned a few posts above).
^unfortunately since I'm using a computer at school I can't install any other media players here ... Now that I think of it though my MiniDVD player can read files off of USBs though so I probably can just watch the videos on that.
