As grateful as I am for the concept of revolving members--after all, it's the reason we have the girls we've got now--Morning Musume's 8th Gen lineup feels to sacred to change :( I'm going to be a complete wreck this week. And next week. And well into the new year.

No matter what "bad blood" exists between AKB fans and H!P fans, as a self-proclaimed H!P fangirl and casual AKB fangirl, I have to congratulate the girls of AKB48. They came from such humble beginnings, and now they're chart toppers. They've worked hard and deserve their success. Congrats, girls!

To be honest I'm slightly sad b'cos while they get a million, we are struggling to get 40k T_T. But that doesn't mean I can't see that this accomplishment of theirs has come from great loads of hard work and management that actually gives a damn about their managed.. Congratulations AKB fans!!
