I tried uploading an image into my gallery but get a "The server returned an error during upload" it a jpeg that is less than 300kb

Ever since getting my new PC and now using Windows 8. I've had many incompatible issues...my scanner and printer are old so no new firmware available. Also I can't revert its use with XP for some reason. My Microsoft LifeCam HD 5000 is failing to initialize. Although it works with skype, messenger and any program that uses webcams, it can't open by itself anymore. So I can't turn off auto focus or make adjustments anymore. Hopefully they'll patch this problem soon

I don't think it'll be solved by MS, your hardware vendor must provide the appropriate drivers...
Maybe you can dual-boot windows 7 on another partition?

Finally got me a new PC after the old one was basically dying ...blue screen of death. Trying to get through the day with stupid allergies (always happens when the season changes)
