since I'm in the 3rd grade of high school now, the German language lesson will be given instead of the two-year Japanese language lesson. Somebody help me.... T-T

Well, I think that's impossible :) You can learn the basics but won't really understand it after 1 year imo.
But still you have japanese lessons at high schools, that's awesome. We had to choose between german or french for 2nd foreign language, so I chose german it seemed easier.

actually, it's planned for 3 years but last month my Japanese teacher moved to another city... so I got German instead of Japanese.
