Here's a translation of an interview that Oricon did with Morning Musume's Michishige Sayumi, Sayashi Riho, and Iikubo Haruna for "One Two Three."

--The reborn Morning Musume is fully fired up, huh?! Also, Michishige leader! How do you want Morning Musume to go forward from now on?
Michishige: I've thought about various things. But there's no definite direction in sight. However, from a citizen's point of view, that kind of politician is detestable, right?
--What are you talking about? (laughs).
Michishige: It's an analogy. An analogy. But no matter what direction we take, I think some dissatisfaction will appear. That's why at first, I considered various things, thinking, "similar to the past, like Sparta or something?" but......The members have strong personalities, and I thought it'd be best not to go against that and just go along with what can be entrusted to each of them. I thought, "No matter what happens, if it's Morning Musume, it'll be ok!"
Iikubo: I think that's great! I'm glad you're not becoming strict! I thought, "What am I gonna do if she says something like, 'You insist that Iikubo's image color is chocolate color, but it's brown, isn't it?!' " (laughs).
Michishige: I do somewhat think that, though. That's called brown throughout the world, you know.

--Also, the 11th generation audition is being held. What do you want to teach your juniors?
Iikubo: I'm still not good at singing and dancing, so.....but when it comes to the secret in making weird faces, I can teach that. The secret is to destroy the whole face! It's not just about showing only the whites of your eyes, but also destroying your nose, your mouth, everything! For example, kinda like this! Shows weird face).
Sayashi: As for me, I think it's important to impart to them the things that I learned from my seniors as they were taught to me, like greetings for example. I think it'd be great if I could properly teach them the fundamental things.
--Sayashi-san, that's a wonderful answer. What do you think, Iikubo-san?

Sayashi: I want to clean my room! Recently, I received some small food sample toys, and I really love looking at those, but.....I've lost some parts for them inside my room. I think maybe if I tidy up my room, I won't have such worries.
Michishige: I want to go get a haircut, but I really hate going to the beauty salon. That city feeling is scary. Even just getting in the mood to go to the beauty salon is difficult!
Iikubo: I want to nurture a rhino beetle larva until it grows into an adult!

Iikubo: Last year, I was able to raise a rhino beetle only up to the pupa stage, so this year, I want to do my best!
