Hey everyone, this is my first blog entry ^_^ Nothing about my thoughts on the whacky things of Japan, but more I'm interested in ideas you have, things that you find interesting about Japan.
The reason I ask is for my English Language coursework, I have to do a 1500 word essay on anything I want that's a personal experience, its purpose being writing to inform.
So I was clueless, and my mum suggested writing about Japan. I've never actually been to Japan, but doesn't mean I can't lie and comment on the things I've read/seen online about Japan. But I loved the idea, it's something I'm really interested in and would enjoy doing, and it's gonna help me get a qualification :D
Things I plan on writing about are sport (sumos, of course ;D ), how a group of girls singing in school uniform and bikinis are one of the biggest things in Japan right now (Note: Not saying this is what their success is based on or the only things they wear), traditional Japanese things, stereotypes, otaku, etc.
So I'm sure most people here love the idea of Japan, and I'm curious, what is it that attracts you?
