Minna HAPPY! Mama no Uta Review

So, I recently downloaded Tsuji’s new CD, Minna HAPPY! Mama no Uta. I must say, overall, it sounds like a kid’s cd, but it’s awfully cute. The cover’s cute too, because it’s got Tsuji around kids, which she really loves. I can just.. tell. She’s pregnant for God’s sake. x3 Soon to have her kid, btw! I hope she has a safe delivery when she does have him. Noa’s gonna have a cute little brother to care for .

So, here’s my review on the CD. I’ll be typing these as I listen to the song.



1.) Sanpo;;

This song reminds me of Disney World for some reason. Just the marching aspect to it. But it’s awfully cute. and the kids yelling “Maammmaaaa!~” In the beginning is just.. awfully cavity-inducing. Overall it’s adorable, and I’ll probably uh.. never listen to it again. Only when my iPod’s on shuffle.

2.) Oshiri Kagiri Mushi;;

This song.. reminds me of Koharu.. Oshiri Kagiri Mushiiiiii ~ She repeats that too much.. In my opinion. She also sounds a bit.. autotuned? This definitely sounds like a kid’s song. One to let a little kid listen to, and clap along to. It’s not one that I’ll listen to again.

3.) GARAGARA HEBI ga Yattekuru;;

This one has a creepy man’s voice in it, but the beat is awfully cute and fun-paced. I love how all these songs incorporate kids voices into it. Reminds me of Ganbacchae! Cute song.

4.) ANPANMAN no THEME;;

This one is definitely one of my favourites. The theme is so light and happy!~ I find myself humming to it along with the beat. Adorable. Definitely a repeat play.

5.) Hyokkori Hyoutanjima;;

A remake of a classic Morning Musume song! Of course I’d love to make this a repeat on my iPod. I love to listen to this normally, now with Tsuji and kids? Absolutely cuter! One of my favourites on her album.

6.) Yuuki 100%;;

Skipped. It kinda bored me. :/

7.) Oyoge! Taiyaki-kun;;

Too slow for my tastes, but Tsuji sounds really good in this one.

8.) Odoro PONPOKORIN;;

This is a song I can dance too ~ Very light and cheerful, a good followup to the really slow Oyoge. ~~

9.) Ningen tte Ii na;;

This sounds like an old-styled song ~ It’s cute. I really enjoy it ~ -hums along.-

10.) MOONLIGHT Densetsu;;

Here is the song I downloaded the album for. Moonlight Densetsu, otherwise known as, the Sailor Moon theme song. I loved Sailor Moon as a child, and hearing Tsuji (One of my favourite OGs) sing it is just stunning to me. I’ve listened to it over and over for about 10 minutes now, and it’s still one of my favourites on the CD.

11.) Watashi ga OBAsan ni Natte mo;;

Too slow. Skipped.

12.) Chibi★DEVIwL;;

This reminds me of Tsuji’s old style of singing. The Tsuji that I loved in all of her W songs. Very thrilling still, after all of these years. Another one that I could play over and over again.



All in all, this Album is one of the better OG CDs that have been put out. I might just keep MOONLIGHT Densetsu and Chibi★DEVIwL on my iPod, to save space. I love Tsuji, and I hope her life is going well, with her baby on the way.
