DISCLAIMER : The following entry contains events and times that are merely my thoughts and opinions, they follow no solid time line and are probably taken out of context, my memory sucks at times so bear with me.
Shirow & Lolli do London 2008 tour
I wake up about 6 in the morning, grab a cup of tea and have my last look around the internets before I embark on a not so epic journey to London, after checking my bags and person about a gazillion times I overcome my obsessive compulsive disorder and leave for the train station.
Fastforward...
After 2 trains and 4 hours I step into Kings cross Station, all I need to do now if find my way to piccadilly circus and find Lolli.
As I'm riding the tube on the piccadilly line I remember to text Lolli to remind her to meet me outside the station ... yet ... silly ... I'm underground ... no mobile signal ... balls.
Getting to the surface I text her and let her know my location, which is a pink donut shop.
I'm stood about for about 5 minutes until I hear a voice saying 'oi oi' ... a typical British greeting, this is the first time I have ever actually met Lolli, we have spoken pretty much everyday for over a year so we know each other quite well (sometimes too well lols).
At first it I was kind of nervous but within 10 minutes we were babbling about nonsense like usual, we get to our 'hostel' and take the elevator to the 7th floor, Lolli then leads me through a labryinth of horrible orange walls and doors closely packed together ... we then reach our 'room'...
To say we had little room to move around is an understatement ... I was hoping that we both got on because if we didnt things could get heated, I think this is the first time I've stayed in a hotel/b&b/hostel that didnt even have a tv or kettle ... there were beds and a door! simplistic indeed.
After putting my bags down and getting my breath back Lolli suggests going to the London museum, since I didnt have any plans it sounded like a good idea.
fastforward 3 hours
After aimlessly walking around the London musuem pointing at sculptures of horse wangs and a golden statue of kate moss we decide to leave and mooch around the shopping areas.
This is a picture of a centurian kicking some dude in the balls
This is Samurai armour from the Japanese section, pretty cool ne?
This is some kind of old Japanese robot???

Walking around some park in London, was it hyde park? I dont remember!
But it was really quite lovely, the weather was warm with clear(ish) blue skies, this park also featured the 'princess Diana water feature' ... after finding it me and Lolli both agreed it was complete garbage, it looked stupid and sounded like a toilet system filling up.
We was going to go on the rowing boats but decided against it ... I forget why ... I think its because we were to lazy or it was too expensive ... probably both, but it was really nice to walk around such a pretty place.
