"In 2011, the Hello! Project members performed The Star-Spangled Banner during their performance in New York City."

Hahahahahaha, never trust wiki. Anyone can edit it.
Yea, if they were here, we definitely would have heard about it here on H!O. Plus, do you really think they could conjure up enough english to sing the national anthem? That's not a song people just let you mess up.
^^ I wouldn't say NEVER TRUST WIKI. I'd just say, be smart enough that if something on wiki seems very far-fetched, it probably isn't true. Because MOST stuff on wiki is correct.
Maybe it was Hawaii not NYC since they had their fanclub tour.
^ No, and not even close.
Anytime anyone from H!P sets foot in America everyone on Hello! Online and other related sites would be talking about it and advertising it there is no way in hell you would not know about it if it did happen as long as you use sites related to H!P or even Japanese music that advertises concerts and appearences in the west. As far as not trusting Wiki always cross check with official sources before believing anything there are several usefull facts on there but also a lot of biased one sided views and pure nonsense that isn't true. Anyone can edit Wiki real sources not so much.
They should do a show in New York.
