Day 2 @ April 23rd~
Concert day!!! Wohoooo~ The only Berryz related event of Day 2.
Since concert line up didn't begin until 6PM, we all slept in that morning. Our group gathered at 10AM and went into the convention center to see how the situation was. We know for sure some crazy fans will line up the whole day, but my group was not really worried about what row in the concert we'd end up at. We just wanted to be not too far back, and have enough room to jump around and make a$$es of ourselves
There were no signs of fans on the 4th floor outside the main stage and line up area, but we figured the unofficial line would be on the 6th floor again, beside Artist Alley. We were right on the money.
Before we got to waiting area, we passed by room 606. The door was open... and we noticed... ℃-ute's Maasara Blue Jeans was playing on the projection screen. It was the Idols! Idols! Idols! panel. If you were in this panel, we were the group of random people who suddenly came in and started dancing and yelling
We stuck around and danced to Tokkaiko Junjou, then ran away like the ninjas that we are

At the waiting area, we were told the little notebook was being used again to keep track of everyone in the line. It was not even 11AM, we left kyyuna to hold our spot in line, and went off to do some shopping and grab breakfast. Off to IGA we went again. Each of us grabbed a liter of water and other snacks. I found this:

Across the street from IGA is a Subway. There, we grabbed a few foot longs for $5 each. The Subways inside the convention center wants almost double the price for the same thing, wtf?! Back to the con to join back with kyyuna. It was barely 1PM when we all finished eating. Watching cosplayers do random things helped kill time for a bit. I whipped out my little speakers and we practiced our Berryz chants and moves. Surprisingly, not much people lined up behind us this whole time.
Suddenly, a surge of people began to flow into our area. It was the line up for Exist trace's Q&A panel. Sakura-Con staff told us they needed the area and how we needed to leave. Some of the fans in our line up got a bit upset, and tried to argue back, saying this is an open area, not marked for any particular use, so that we had rights to stay if we desired to. The staffs allowed us to stay, as long as we made room for the Exist trace line up, which we did. sanrio was getting sick of waiting, he went to wander around the con, and said he'll be back in a short while. 20minutes after, that line was allowed to go into their panel. Just as we thought we had the area back, a different group of staff came and told us to leave. This time, they were moving the Cosplay Chess line up into our area. Compared to Exist trace's crowd, there were way more people, so much that we actually had to get up and leave. Everyone agreed to meet up again in front of the main stage at 4:30PM. Misa and the the girls went off as well, leaving us three guys to wait for sanrio. 10~15 minutes after, he came back. He actually ran into Misa's group and was told what happened. sferris, kyyuna, sanrio, and I went back to my hotel to change into our gears and grab the glow sticks we were to hand out.
The crazy guy on the right is me, kyyuna on the left. TKMR!. Yes, those are glow sticks across my chest, LOL. In case you are wondering, my outfit is called "Concert Commando".
With each H!P event I go to, I turn more and more kimoi (disgusting). If S/mileage is the next H!P act to come, I will probably break the record of wearing the most pink by a guy at one time.... if there's such a thing
All geared up, we headed back to loiter in front of the Main stage area. In the hotel lobby, we ran into Misa's group, they ran out of things to see =P It wasn't even 5PM yet, and all the Berryz fans already filled the area outside of the concert hall. My group stood beside the vending machine, since we had to deal with our 4 boxes of glow sticks. A couple guys came over to say hi, and we gave them each a stick. Sorry I didn't catch you guys' names, holla back
Short time later, the Autographs hall 4B opened up for us to line up for the concert. Misa and co got pretty far up in line, right in front of yelling fat white guy from Day 1. We asked yelling white guy if the little book unofficial line up list was still valid, thinking he was part of fan organization again. He gave us a firm no, in a disgusted tone of voice and told us to get in line. (Not to sound bitter, but buddy, you were so supportive of the little book on Day 1. Now on Day 2, you weren't a part of it, and automatically you make it sounds like people who signed up in the little book are outlaws? Just cause it doesn't benefit you, you make us feel like we're the a$$holes? Can you be more imba? u see, u see, GG). Anywhoo~ the four of us found our spot in line, which wasn't too far back. Immediately, kyyuna, sanrio, and I took our boxes of glow sticks, with sferris holding our spot in line, we went to the front of the priority line up and yelled, "WHO NEEDS A GLOW STICK?" Most people at the front of this line came prepared. Good job guys It wasn't until when we walked further back that fans wanted glow sticks from us. Some people even pulled out their wallets and tried to pay us, which we stopped them from doing so =P Shug, who was at the front of the Priority line gave us like 6 purple glow sticks to give away, when we mentioned purple was completely out. We only had 12 purple and 12 red to begin with. Thank you Shug for your generosity. We managed to also get through to the first segment of people in the normal line. It took no time to clear out our stash of 100+ glow sticks, and we joined sferris back in line. sferris overheard some people in the back saying how cheap we were, only giving one glow stick per person. I'm sorry if we weren't able to give out more. We paid out of our own pockets to buy the glow sticks, and that's how much we could afford at this time. When the next time a H!P group comes over to the US, we'll try to have more to give out. Also, we limited one stick per person, so more people can receive one. It makes the crowd look more lively and spread out too =)
Settled down, I noticed the 2 Japanese fans lining up behind us had many Gunplas (Gundam plastic models) with him, all Zakus. I know of a website where wotas take their Zaku models and take pictures of them at Berryz events, so I asked him if he's on that site. Apparently, that's his website! Time was getting close to when we were allowed in. One of the staff, an older gentlemen took a mic, and told us we were now to stay in line, or risk being throw to the back of the line. No washroom breaks, no glow sticks distribution. (I don't think he was referring to us, because after we were finished, a group of people came in and tried to sell glow sticks. I believe it's people from one of the vender's booth in the exhibit hall.) Mr.staff even said we'll get arrested by the Seattle police if we RUN into the concert hall. I was too far back in line to see, but was there really a policemen there?

The place looked like it could fit 3500 people. I know HSU announced concert attendance was 3500, but it wasn't full. I'd say 2000max.

The Yellow star is where my group was. Blue star is where the very loud group of Wotas (mostly Momo's) were. Misa and her 2 friends were in the mosh pit along with everyone else who wanted to be up close. We opted for a spot just behind the mosh pit because we wanted the seats to put our stuff on, room to jump around like idiots, and it wasn't too far back.

I know the recorder was behind us, because of all the MIYA and SAKICHANNNNNN yells we did through out the entire show.
I won't go into details about the concert, but the setlist surprised us all.
Is it true that Risako shred tears during Ai wa Katsu? We were not close enough to notice. (More like I kept my eyes on Miya the whole time lolololol).

I meet Berryz back stage after the concert.
So I'm one of the five lucky people who won a chance to meet Berryz backstage after their concert. We were told at the Guest Reception to not leave after the concert, and meet up near the stage after everyone is gone. I took off my glow stick belts and unzipped the top of my coveralls, then tied the sleeves around my waist, showing my Berryz Koubou in Sakura-Con t-shirt inside, like this:
I didn't want to look too crazy in front of the girls, lololol yeah right orz
The 5 of us eventually all gathered on the far right, near the stage, in front of the opening that leads to backstage. BerryzGenius' mom was there with us. I confused her as one of the winners =P Oops. The tall girl, who's now a Berryz fan, is Denise. She was cosplaying as Perona from One Piece, and had a stuff doll of Kumashi (Kumacy) with her. The other girl winner, the Japanese fan who was very helpful on Day 1, her name is Anna. She was extremely nervous, even thought this wasn't the first time she's meeting Berryz, it's a very special chance to go back stage for any fan. Anna told us she has been a fan of Berryz since their H!P kids audition days. The fifth winner is a grandpa. His daughter and granddaughter were there with him. They asked the staff if it was ok for the granddaughter to take her grandpa's place instead. The staffs agreed to the suggestion, but when the little girl's mother said she doesn't want her 6? years old daughter to go inside alone, the staff said only the 5 winner could go inside. Result, grandpa went in.
Yaz (Dragon Lady) came out from the back and told us Berryz members were getting ready, and we were to wait a bit longer. We took this time and showed off what we were planning to get autographed. I pulled out my Miyabi e-Hello! DVD and BerryzGenius really want one as well, but missed the chance to order from e-LineUP! Anna had 7 shikishi boards to get signed. She had 1 special green one for Yurina to sign, Kumai-chan being her oshimen (Yurina is really popular among girls I noticed this weekend.)
Minutes later, Yaz came back and we were told to follow inside and stop at the end near the wall (Refer to the map above). From where we were told to wait, we could look across to the dressing room area, and Berryz were standing there, waiting to walk over to us!!!!! We all waved at them, and they waved back They were still wearing their concert outfits, these ones:
Yaz told us to stop waving, since we'll have plenty of time with them. Being good fans we are (LOL), we listened. Berryz slowly made their way over to us. I bowed like an idiot non-stop orz

We were told we'd each be getting an 8shot with them. (An #shot = # the amount of people in the photograph, and shot = photograph; An 8shot means a photo with 8 people.)
At first, they had a Polaroid camera to take the shots with, but either it was broken, or someone forgot to buy film, it was switched to a DSLR at the last minute.
I can't quite remember the order of what went first. However, I do remember that Denise asked Captain to hold her Kumashi doll during the shot. The doll was almost 2/3 the size of Saki-chan
For my shot, I walked up to them and bowed AGAIN (LOL). Took my spot in the middle and turned around to face the camera. Miyabi did a little jump toward my side and did a big V sign. I couched down and threw a double? V sign at the camera. (I don't even know why I couched down, it's not like I'm tall, especially with Yurina and Chinami behind me, no way I'd block them from the shot. Probably couched out of instinct, standing in the front of a shot.) When it was done, I turned around and bowed again~ "Arigatou gozai masu" I said, as I stepped backward, still facing them. Bowed again, making sure my bow got to everyone Was I ever annoying.
Anna was happy to get her 8shot, and Berryz were happy to see her.
Can't remember what happened for BerryzGenius and Grandpa.
The five of us, stood 5 meters away from Berryz. We waited for the next set of instructions.
A few staff carried a table over and placed it in front of the Berryz members, and they got into single file, standing behind the table, in order of oldest to youngest, from right to left. We were then told to pull out goods we wanted to get autographs on.
Yaz and other staffs were looking for marker pens, but only a few were found.
Denise went first again. Since she's a new fan, she doesn't have any Berryz goods with her. Berryz was kind enough to sign on the back of her con badge. They happily examined Denise's cosplay, lol.
I was next. Captain was first, she had a red marker in her hand and asked if it was ok for them to sign in Red. Without hesitation, I told her it was fine (Why wouldn't it be fine? I'd still be gigidy gigidy if they signed with a neon yellow highlighter hahaha, I just wanted to meet them up close.) I handed Captain her pic from my Sakura-Con limited red outfit photo set, and she asked if it's good to sign on the white space in the photo. "Hai!!!" I replied like I've just won the lottery. She signed it and handed the picture back to me. Captain then passed the red marker to Momoko beside her. "Momochii hime, konbanwa" I told her. "Konbanwa" she replied. She signed her photo and gave it back to me. "Arigatou gozai mashita, hime-sama" I can't believe I said that to her face orz. Chinami was next. I started off with "KonbanWAN", but she only replied with a normal "Konbanwa". So I did it again, "Kon~ban~WAN!". Nope, she doesn't realize I was referring to the AC commercial (Refer to my Day 1 part 2 report). Chii signed her pic and gave it back to me. I tried again, "ArigatoUSAGI!!!!". Chii's eyes widen, "AHHHH!!!! ARIGATOUSAGI!!!!@", and she did a GETS pose to me. Massa was next. As she was signing her photo. I kneel down and told her I enjoyed watching her movie and even watched the entire making of. She was happy about it.
Now comes my Miya.
She was expecting me to hand over her picture from the photo set, but I looked at her and said, "Suppesharu!" Miya gave me a curious look as I pulled out her Natural & Cool DVD. I opened the box up and asked her to sign on the disc. She signed on the white space, then looked up at me, gave me a smirk and drew a heart beside her face on the disc. (I think I died and came back right about here.) I bowed to Miya and thanked her. She tried to give me the red maker, thinking it's mine, but I was like, "Eh... no... it's not mine...." She handed the marker to Yurina who was waiting. My mind was blank at this point, thanks Miya, so I had nothing to say to Yurina. All I managed was to thank her. She almost tried to give me the red marker, but paused, remembering that Miya tried to do the same just a second ago. She then gave the marker to Risako and I shuffled over. I was still in awwww from Miya, so didn't say much to Rii-chan. She also tried to give me the marker (I should of took it and ran) but I told her it's not mine, and we agreed to just put the marker at the end of the table. I slowly back away, as I thanked Risako again.
Anna, BerryzGenius and Grandpa, in this order, took quite a bit of time chatting with the Berryz members. I stood about a meter behind them, and watched.
Right after everyone got their stuff autographed, we were given a notebook, to write down our contact information, so the staffs can email us our 8shots. (I heard it might take another week or two before we'll receive it, the wait is killing me.)
Grandpa decided to leave after writing down his contact info, and all the Berryz members waved goodbye to him.
The rest of us didn't want to go. We stood around and stared at the seven idols, as a staff with a video camera went up to Berryz and asked them to do some funny poses (This might end up on DVD or TV.)
We were then asked to leave. Berryz waved to all of us, and we kept waving as we headed toward the backstage exit.
They continued to wave at us, even though we were almost out of sight. Being the dumba$$ I am, I let out a "MIYABI SAIKOUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!", to which she responded by throwing her arms up into the air.
The four of us traded contact info, and compared items we got signed, as we exited.
It probably was 30minutes after the concert was over until I finally stepped out of the hall. To my surprise, a group of Japanese fans were still hanging around outside the hall. Misa was with them. They wanted to find a restaurant to do an ofukai (an after party), to celebrate the concert's success. I called sferris and the others, who were already back in the hotel. We assembled into a group of seventeen fans, then marched our way over to Game Works across the street, where it has a small restaurant and a bar.
After much effort to try and sit us all together, we ordered drinks, pizza, and fish & chips. Among the wotas was noorangenolife. We didn't realize it was him until he pulled out his phone told us we were being Ustreamed!! Yikes!!!

At first, they had a Polaroid camera to take the shots with, but either it was broken, or someone forgot to buy film, it was switched to a DSLR at the last minute.
I can't quite remember the order of what went first. However, I do remember that Denise asked Captain to hold her Kumashi doll during the shot. The doll was almost 2/3 the size of Saki-chan
For my shot, I walked up to them and bowed AGAIN (LOL). Took my spot in the middle and turned around to face the camera. Miyabi did a little jump toward my side and did a big V sign. I couched down and threw a double? V sign at the camera. (I don't even know why I couched down, it's not like I'm tall, especially with Yurina and Chinami behind me, no way I'd block them from the shot. Probably couched out of instinct, standing in the front of a shot.) When it was done, I turned around and bowed again~ "Arigatou gozai masu" I said, as I stepped backward, still facing them. Bowed again, making sure my bow got to everyone
Was I ever annoying.Anna was happy to get her 8shot, and Berryz were happy to see her.
Can't remember what happened for BerryzGenius and Grandpa.
The five of us, stood 5 meters away from Berryz. We waited for the next set of instructions.
A few staff carried a table over and placed it in front of the Berryz members, and they got into single file, standing behind the table, in order of oldest to youngest, from right to left. We were then told to pull out goods we wanted to get autographs on.
Yaz and other staffs were looking for marker pens, but only a few were found.
Denise went first again. Since she's a new fan, she doesn't have any Berryz goods with her. Berryz was kind enough to sign on the back of her con badge. They happily examined Denise's cosplay, lol.
I was next. Captain was first, she had a red marker in her hand and asked if it was ok for them to sign in Red. Without hesitation, I told her it was fine (Why wouldn't it be fine? I'd still be gigidy gigidy if they signed with a neon yellow highlighter hahaha, I just wanted to meet them up close.) I handed Captain her pic from my Sakura-Con limited red outfit photo set, and she asked if it's good to sign on the white space in the photo. "Hai!!!" I replied like I've just won the lottery. She signed it and handed the picture back to me. Captain then passed the red marker to Momoko beside her. "Momochii hime, konbanwa" I told her. "Konbanwa" she replied. She signed her photo and gave it back to me. "Arigatou gozai mashita, hime-sama" I can't believe I said that to her face orz. Chinami was next. I started off with "KonbanWAN", but she only replied with a normal "Konbanwa". So I did it again, "Kon~ban~WAN!". Nope, she doesn't realize I was referring to the AC commercial (Refer to my Day 1 part 2 report). Chii signed her pic and gave it back to me. I tried again, "ArigatoUSAGI!!!!". Chii's eyes widen, "AHHHH!!!! ARIGATOUSAGI!!!!@", and she did a GETS pose to me. Massa was next. As she was signing her photo. I kneel down and told her I enjoyed watching her movie and even watched the entire making of. She was happy about it.
Now comes my Miya.
She was expecting me to hand over her picture from the photo set, but I looked at her and said, "Suppesharu!" Miya gave me a curious look as I pulled out her Natural & Cool DVD. I opened the box up and asked her to sign on the disc. She signed on the white space, then looked up at me, gave me a smirk and drew a heart beside her face on the disc. (I think I died and came back right about here.) I bowed to Miya and thanked her. She tried to give me the red maker, thinking it's mine, but I was like, "Eh... no... it's not mine...." She handed the marker to Yurina who was waiting. My mind was blank at this point, thanks Miya, so I had nothing to say to Yurina. All I managed was to thank her. She almost tried to give me the red marker, but paused, remembering that Miya tried to do the same just a second ago. She then gave the marker to Risako and I shuffled over. I was still in awwww from Miya, so didn't say much to Rii-chan. She also tried to give me the marker (I should of took it and ran
) but I told her it's not mine, and we agreed to just put the marker at the end of the table. I slowly back away, as I thanked Risako again.Anna, BerryzGenius and Grandpa, in this order, took quite a bit of time chatting with the Berryz members. I stood about a meter behind them, and watched.
Right after everyone got their stuff autographed, we were given a notebook, to write down our contact information, so the staffs can email us our 8shots. (I heard it might take another week or two before we'll receive it, the wait is killing me.)
Grandpa decided to leave after writing down his contact info, and all the Berryz members waved goodbye to him.
The rest of us didn't want to go. We stood around and stared at the seven idols, as a staff with a video camera went up to Berryz and asked them to do some funny poses (This might end up on DVD or TV.)
We were then asked to leave. Berryz waved to all of us, and we kept waving as we headed toward the backstage exit.
They continued to wave at us, even though we were almost out of sight. Being the dumba$$ I am, I let out a "MIYABI SAIKOUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!", to which she responded by throwing her arms up into the air.
The four of us traded contact info, and compared items we got signed, as we exited.
It probably was 30minutes after the concert was over until I finally stepped out of the hall. To my surprise, a group of Japanese fans were still hanging around outside the hall. Misa was with them. They wanted to find a restaurant to do an ofukai (an after party), to celebrate the concert's success. I called sferris and the others, who were already back in the hotel. We assembled into a group of seventeen fans, then marched our way over to Game Works across the street, where it has a small restaurant and a bar.
After much effort to try and sit us all together, we ordered drinks, pizza, and fish & chips. Among the wotas was noorangenolife. We didn't realize it was him until he pulled out his phone told us we were being Ustreamed!! Yikes!!!
