Back in....PINK!

well golly gee, I haven't written in my blog for ages. :good: (I don't really say golly gee, I just felt like saying it)
today was the last day of our school week, because we have off tomorrow!! woohoo! But do you know why?
They are having a teacher meeting or something because they are changing the middle schools in our district from 7th and 8th grade to 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. Its pretty lame how they are planning to do it. They are going to have only 2 teachers (teacher teams they are referred to as) and they stay in the same class. Okay, now what is the point of that? It's just like elementary school but two teachers. If they really wanted, they could just have 2 teachers at elementary school. Theres a whole bunch of crazy changes they're making, and it all just seems so foolish to me.

on a different subject, I had a dream that I was eating momo. not the beloved momo I know, but the fruit. ^_^ (momo means peach) It was a pretty tasty peach as a matter of fact. it tasted like....sugar with fruit juice on it~ Thats my fav. (wait a minute, i've actually had that? yes, I like so sprinkle lemon juice on sugar and eat it) Speaking of food, I am an aspiring chef! I want to make the best japanese food in wisconsin! That'll be rather hard, but I'm going to work hard at perfecting my recipes! Today I came up with a good way to prepare onigiri though! Okay, I make the onigiri triangle of fun etc etc but I created a sauce that was originally for dango with a small twist to dip/sprinkle on the onigiri, and...OISHIII!! It was so good, and it really made me feel like my efforts to create great food was finally starting to pay off! I'm having trouble with dango though. I don't want my dango to taste like dango because dango doesnt taste the best plain. I'll have to be creative! ;o Adding sugar doesn't help, because even though it kinda starts to taste better, when you try and cook it, it falls apart into little pieces. D= I had to fish them out with my strainer, but the bits tasted good. I need to add something so that it doesn't get all icky. I cant add more mochiko, because then it'll just taste the same as before with a hint of sugar. D= maybe i'll just have to give up on dango? but i'm determined to make the best! I MUST I MUST!
I also want to have the best teriyaki sauce! yes yes! Restraunts have awesome sauce, but it's like theirs isn't even teriyaki sauce! it tastes nothing like it. D=

I'm inspired, so I'm off to perfect my dango!
