Tried to grab them on Black Friday at Foot Locker, but they told me they would be getting them on Tuesday/Wednesday. Then tried at Champs but they said they only had received some for two of their stores and were sold out.
Fast forward today; called my mom and asked her if she could check since I was at work. My parents went to Foot Locker and told them they were getting them on Thursday... Checked out Footaction for the hell of it and by some luck they had the last size 10. Actually they told my mom it was sold out until one of the workers found one when they were at the register. Really thankful for them. They probably sold out by noon or so. They went there a little after 10 and told me they already sold about 12 pairs.
So if you're on the Island of Oahu and still looking for a pair; Thursday is your last chance on getting them at Foot Locker~
Aesthetic wise; I really really like them. Ok, so maybe half of the reason why I purchased these was because of the hype but I don't have anything that matches my blue clothing. I have my Kobe Vs "Del Sol" and my Nike "Ultraman" Dunk Lows. Pair them up with blue clothing? Del Sols could work but ehhh (Ultramans are a no-go).
Showed a friend a picture and she said the hologram was pretty. That's about it.
Performance wise; tried them on for a bit, like walking around the house. Comparing them with my current shoes [Kobe Vs "Del Sol"] these are STIFF and heavy. It feels like pillows are taped around my feet. Sorta.
One thing I like was the ankle support (maybe because they're mids?); not as good as the XXs but better than the Kobe Vs.
Don't think I'll be using these for work [besides the $$ spent]. I won't have much flexibility moving around so much so I'll stick with casual wearing.
