Anthropomorphised as a cute highschool girl, Japanese automobile manufacturing company Subaru is our protagonist. Immediately upon meeting her, the viewer is left with many questions – such as why would any parents name their daughter Subaru? We simply don’t the answer for now. But what we can figure out is clearly laid before us – Subaru is often described by others as being a rather slow-minded and ditsy girl. As she goes to school, she finds out that her childhood friend, Aoi, is attending a different school than her, leaving her a bit worried.
